Honest to God: A Change of Heart that can Change the World

We are creating a movement in two places. (1) Your heart. (2) Our World. Becoming moved by the intimate personal knowledge that comes from honesty becomes a movement to change the social structures we have set up in the world, to make them more in alignment with compassion. The movement becomes a movement. The movement in our hearts becomes a movement in the world.

We who are moved actually have, collectively, more money than those who are unmoved. It’s time we made our move.

So we ask you to focus on two things to help yourself and help us:

(1) Personal Transformation. Go and tell the truth in your family and among your friends and complete what has been incomplete between you, and then keep it that way.

(2) Social Transformation. In the United States we have a structure for a democracy. It already exists. Tom and George and their and our mutual friends already built it years ago. It has been put to sleep and partially dismantled. It can be reawakened and restored. There are more people with empathy and compassion than there are heartless people who are only interested in money.

Join us and become articulate through practice, study and participation in the art of precise communication. Talk amongst ourselves. Talk about what is really going on in the world, in conversation with the real power out there: people. And keep talking, voting, spending, raising children, making a living and recreating in a common direction with us, until we who are into the truth get our way. A world created by agreement based on compassion and enlightened self-interest and greed, instead of just greed alone.

We are forming a cabinet of philosopher Kings and Queens who are noted writers, artists, actors, consultants and rabble rousers who have the combined listening of 60 million people. (It takes only 30 million to elect a president.) We would like for you to make suggestions for members of the cabinet, new cabinet posts, and possible Presidential candidates for an independent-party run for the white house in 2004. We want to establish a two party system in America. (Us and the Republicrats.)
