To whom it may concern,
The article forwarded to me under the above subject heading illustrates
just how short the publics memory is. The unnamed man "killed in a shootout"
was actualy murdered by our brave Texas State Police and/or the Federal Thugs
assisting in the manhunt. At the time of his murder there were no criminal
charges pending on him and in the words of a DPS spokesman,"we dont want him
on criminal charges but we would sure like to visit with him". After being
tracked down and attacked by police dogs he shot one of them in self defense.
Having one of their dogs shot enraged the "officers" so much that soon
afterward they shot the man on sight. The shot tore his arm off and the brave
"officers" waited untill he bled to death before aproaching him. Of course
no charges were ever brought against any of the big brave officers nor was
any of their actions questioned by the news media. I guess at the time of
his death he could have been charged with Cruelty To an Animal which is a
misdomener in Texas but then again that would have required someone to arrest
him. Seems like they'd rather just shoot someone.......gives them something
to brag about while at the bar with all their police buddies.
