Just read your excellent letter. Very fine summary of the Post's past
prevarications. However, rather than waste my time paying attention to the
mainstream, I have realized that the United States Congress is almost
irrelevant, while the networks and cable are primarily lapdogs for the
advertising conglomerates that own them. Yes, the internet is the future of
news in this country, as citizens are beginning to take back the
responsibility for keeping themselves informed.
