Did you hear of Scott Ritter's speech done about 8 days ago to an audience of
international players and Saddam himself? I heard it on 91.5 in Washington, D.C.
as I was driving home tonight. He went as a private citizen. He didn't get permission
from State Department. He went to South Africa and met with some people there
and discussed the points he wanted to make in his speech. He asked for a meeting
to be set up so he could talk to Saddam's ministers and have an international
audience. The meeting was apparently arranged and after this meeting, Saddam
changed his mind and is going to allow inspectors in. This guy single-handedly pulled
this off and not one word was mentioned about it on 10:00 news. Bush and Powell
are taking credit for this about-face. I looked on the internet and was not able to find
