Well, by removing the ten commandments from government, separating church and state, there is one thing we can be certain of; the US government can no longer be called hypocritical; since the government from it's inception broke all the ten commandments to begin with and hid behind semantics and loopholes in its broad definition of laws. Judgement in laws are based on interpretation and perception, thus it will be the mindset of those that sit on the bench and who or what they are afilliated with that will make the determination in court. Those of Christian belief should remember the commandment given to them by Christ himself, "Love one another...do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Whether Jewish or Christians, both will follow the ten commandments if they truly practice their faith. Other religions generally follow the same tenets but expressed differently. So keep it generic and basic; it makes no difference.
