CONGRESSIONAL INDIFFERENCE IS A SLAP IN THE FACE AND A KICK TO THE
GROIN

The continued indifference of this nations voters and Congressional
leaders to the constant cutting of veteran health care dollars is
disgraceful. But the all out assault to under fund and close
facilities, limit eligibility and access to remaining health care
programs, and the shunning of our past war heroes is appalling.
Both Republican and Democrat alike are involved and it is a slap in
the face of those who willingly made the sacrifice to defend this
nation. But, America, it is the kick in the groin, the dismantling
and privatization of the present VA, that is directly aimed at our
soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and Korea and the troops involved in
the war on terrorism, you know, the ones you are giving all the
glory to presently, and that kick in the groin will be more
disabling and harmful to this country's future than the snub given
today's veterans by members of Congress.

How can you give praise and medals for duty done with a smile on
your face and then plot and plan to subvert the PROMISED health care
that was made by certified agents of the federal government. How do
you sleep at night knowing that money to take care of the
catastrophically disabled veteran of IRAQ went into some pork-barrel
project and the pocket of a private citizen, I use that word lightly.

How dare you give praise and glory to the present soldiers and stab
the soldiers of the past in the back. PROMISES MADE ARE PROMISES
KEPT, G.W.BUSH. I call to your attention that today's soldier will
be tomorrow's veteran and you leave him blind- sided with a limit on
VA services of two years. How dare you force the WWII veteran to an
early grave by cutting VA health care by restricting money as
discretionary appropriations. How dare you not make good on the
promise you gave the WWII and Korean Career soldiers of life-time
health care. All you do is stand in the rose garden and shrug your
shoulders in indifference, thinking I'll get my share. Yes, you
will for the basic rule of life is what goes around comes around;
and your day of reckoning is coming, sooner, than later. Your
cronies, you think you can trust, but they are already struggling to
dismiss themselves from your presence and power. The weight of
25,000,000 veterans and half as many veteran supporters is upon
you. We are not blind, though some of us lost our eyes in our
particular conflicts. We hear your lies resounding in our ears that
were deafened by the blasts of artillery. If need be, we will walk
on the capital carrying those who lost their legs and share
sustenance with those of us who lost our arms. You will not escape
our scrutiny, and most assuredly, you will not escape the thunder of
our votes in the ballot boxes of this Nation. You have
miscalculated our power to unite, yet you had us trained and
disciplined as soldiers. Bringing the army together was easy. The
voting, will be easier. We defended this REPUBLIC with our blood
and guts, while you went AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard. You
will feel the contempt of the REPUBLIC as we remove you from the
WHITE HOUSE constitutionally.
