C-shankPowder sniffing dogs and metal detectors...Mon Jul 28 00:30:06 2003216.209.151.24You can bet your last round the ATF will be using both when the time comes to confiscate your arms. A dog trained to sniff out gunpowder and gun oil probably can't be defeated by any ammount of cleaning of your weapons. Likewise a metal detector will easily ferret out any guns you may have buried in the yard or hidden in walls or the like. Both are tough to beat but not imposible if you prepare right now.First save every piece of metal junk your household produces from old pots and pans to old car parts and bury them all over your property. Lengths of pipe make good rifle decoys and a handfull of nails will look just like a pistol to the metal detector. They'll get so tired of digging up brake calipers and coffee pots they'll give up. If they don't, they're going to look pretty stupid tearing apart your whole yard only to find nothing. Big propaganda victory for the good guys. Play your "poor victim of an out of control witch hunt" role to the hilt for anyone who will listen. The dog isn't so tough either. From now on save all your used cleaning patches in a ziploc bag. When the time comes wipe the spent powder and gun oil from the patches all over every item, in every room in your house. The dog wil bark at the stove, the fridge, toilet, beds, walls, garbage cans, EVERYTHING. The dog will be totally useless. Sure they may rip the place apart anyway but it will be about as usefull as any other randomly conducted search. They'll find nothing, and again look stupid, hopefully in front of the cameras. As for where to hide? Be creative, and don't hide your guns in any place you have ever heard someone has hid theirs. Under the bed like everyone else, they're going to find them. Never tell anyone where your guns are cached. You will be surprised how many of your most trusted "patriot" friends will crack when faced with a little jail time and/or the loss of their house or car. Everyone talks big while talk is cheap. After that they just plain talk, so don't give them anything to say. Once you have beaten the gun collection system exchange notes with those who have not had the call yet. As a group, patriots should make lists of favorite places the FEDs seem to like to look. Give as much advanced warning to other patriots as you can without giving up any info about where you hid yours.Keeping your cache is job 1. Do the best job you can, and start now. Tomorrow may be too late. Above all, KEEP YOUR MOUTHS SHUT ABOUT IT! Re: Powder sniffing dogs and metal detectors... Anonymous, Mon Jul 28 23:24 RE: Powder sniffing dogs......
