To whom it may concern,

I'm a FBI agent who, disgusted with the deportment of my piers
in the bureau as well as the sleaze and corruption of law and
order in the LA area, has decided to leak the knowledge she has of
a scandal here in the LA area that ties into the attacks on 9-11.
I've tried(an am still trying) to leak what I know to the
mainstream press but am making very little headway. Then, I heard
about the cosmicpenguin.com site from Art Bell, my favorite radio
host, and so I decided to email the site and its various links my
tale, hoping people would be more open-minded. So here is my
account of what should have been the biggest story of 2003. If
any of you write an article thereon, PLEASE let me know so I can
read it! In any event, I'd love to get feedback from each one of
you, so write me back.

First of all, thank you so much for giving me a forum to
safely tell of what I know. It's great to have a place where I
can not only get these things off my chest but also fully give the
public a chance to learn of them in earnest as well.

I must say this is a tale so baroque, bizarre, and Byzantine,
I wondered if my writing skills would be up to par in the telling
of it. It has been, after all, over twenty years since my college
days when last I had been called upon to write such a stirring
narrative. Fortunately, the fact that my job calls upon me to
write many a report has kept my writing skills at fighting weight
so to speak and thus hopefully good enough to do this story
justice, pun intended.

Literary felicity aside, if the public and you get one thing
from my story and one thing only, let it be that the Pandora's
Box of terrorism that was opened on September 11 in the US was
done so with the help of corrupt officials and citizens hiding in
the sheep's clothing of polite society who have betrayed this
country and who should be brought to account.

Ironically, the biggest story of 2003 has been masked all this
time as a trivial incident meriting no more than a few news-wires
with as many paragraphs. It revolved around a suspected anthrax
mailing that a Giorgio Armani store in Bevery Hills received ths
past May 7. Needless to say, along with local law enforcement, we
in the FBI were on hand as well to investigate.

It went unnaturally smooth as far as cases involving terrorist
mailings go, no complicated decontamination procedures as you had
seen the Senate office building receive in the wake of such a
thing. Rather, after initial tests concluded the letter was laced
with "nothing harmful" the employees of Giorgio Armani
uneventfully resumed work after a few hours, leading one to think
it was a mere ruse and nothing more.

It was anything but. In the annals of the war on terror since
September 11, there has nary been a discovery made more
earth-shattering and shocking as this. I suppose it would be
analogous to that point in the Second World War when we catured
one of those enigma-machines, the devise the Germans used to
encode and decode the encrypted messages that they sent back and
forth to themselves, that gave us a clear window into the
machinations of the German war-effort. To draw this analogy out a
little further, imagine if, along with one of these
enigma-machines, was also captured a ten-page document. When
decoded and read, it revealed very embarrassing details about many
officers in the US and British armed forces who had either been
blackmailed or bribed into helping the Nazis with their efforts at
sabotage, creating the grounds for a major scandal and a blow to
allied morale. Now imagine a general in charge of a unit where
many of these officers serve. Afraid at being demoted, drummed
out of the service,or even court marshalled, he dragoons the men
who found the devise and message into shutting up about their
discovery, using his considerable connections in the military
hierarchy to threaten these hapless souls with their jobs and even
having the men of his own unit threaten these same fellows with
their lives. This is, in a nutshell, what the scandal I have
knowledge of is akin to.

At the center of this cover-up is the letter sent to the
store, the contents of which persons on both sides of this war on
terror are hellbent on not letting the public see much the same
way the Nazis or hypothetical, corrupted officers on our side
would have tried to squelch any knowledge of the enigma-machine
and the documents it would illumine. Ironically, the fact that it
surfaced as a terrorist incident is a fluke. True, it was a
"threatning letter" as the news-wires indicated, but it was NEVER
meant to strike fear in the public at large or convey some kind of
highly publicized statement. Rather, it was a secret communique
between a senior Al-Qaeda member named Zakir and the head of the
Giorgio Armani store, meant for his eys and his eyes only. In
fact, the letter sternly enjoins the manager NOT to let this
letter be seen by anyone else. As fate would have it, his
underlings, unbeknownst to him, opened it on his behalf, paniced,
and called the police. The fact of how this letter surfaced, by
the way, is one of the many points of a rock-solid argument as to
the veracity of its contents and hence my account as its author
wrote it in confidence to a man whom he had dealings with for the
past few years(i.e. the Giorgio Armani manager) and not to engage
in a sensationalist prank as the news-wires and the handling of
this matter by the authorities would seem to imply.

You see, as well as being the manager of Giorgio Armani, this
fellow had a job a little more clandestine for, during the past
few years, he's also been head of a smuggling ring with cells in
seventeen stores like his that sell pricey wares, pilfering goods
therefrom and selling them on the street, thus providing THE main
revenue source for Al-Qaeda's operations in the US including the
attacks on September 11.

Now, at this point, I'm sure you're asking the same question
as at first did I when learning of this: why would a group of
Americans, mostly white and non-Muslim, want to form a
smuggling-ring to finance Islamic terrorism? You'll see that,
just as Marlowe in Conrad's "Heart of Darkness" found the scenery
more forboding and eldritch the deeper he ventured into the arcane
African hinterlands, so too will one find the twists and turns
equally bewildering the further one ventures into this
narrative.

It is at this juncture that we come to the next revelation
that blndsided us: the high extent of participation by non-Islamic
groups in Al-Qaeda's US operations. It wasn't mere guile and
daring-do that enabled Al-Qaeda to have the spectacular successes
they did on September 11 for, lurking in the shadows as silent
partners all this time were none other than the Irish Republican
Army and a radical group of Welsh separatists called the Meibion
Glyndwr. Apparantly these white, non-Muslim groups, like sappers
going in advance of the main body of troops to clear the way of
mines and other obstacles, performed a similar role by
infiltrating the infrastructure of the airports where the planes
were hijacked. As I shall relay later in this letter, they have
since infiltrated places like this and much more.

It is the "much more" that they have done which explains why
they could get largely white, non-Muslim people to participate in
the aforementioned smuggling ring to fund Al-Qaeda, and also why
the law and order in Los Angeles are so deathly afraid of being
scandalized. Like Marlowe in "Heart of Darkness" we rounded
another bend of the river where the umbrageous scenery grew even
more twisted and gnarled still when, much to our horror, we
learned that Al-Qaeda could draw upon the expertise of someone who
was formerly employed at our National Security Agnecy to help them
in their nefarious schemes. He goes by the name of Gelynglas, a
Welshman who is head of the Meibion Glyndwr's American theater of
operations. A graduate of Britain's top military academy in
addition to his tenure at the NSA, it was the knowledge, skill,
and acumen that he brought to the table that vouchsafed both the
smuggling ring's ability to steal goods from the stores where they
worked without a trace(and for a hefty cut of the money) as well
as their immunity from the law. With such a guarantee of
prosperity and safety, it's not hard to imagine that the
terrorists could entice not a few people with little scruples to
sign on to their heinous enterprise who worked at stores like
Giorgio Armani.

I talked to someone I know at the NSA about how Gelynglas
might have engineered such an unfettered spree of theft over two
years time from so many stores without raising an eyebrow. He
said it wouldn't be difficult for a former alumnus of the NSA to
muster the knowhow to bring such a thing about especially if they
had a high level of clearance at the agency. More than likely, he
said, he probably has either people planted in the sections in
charge of procuring the goods that the stores will sell to
electronically alter the records or he hacks into the computers
himself and does so. Probably a lot of stuff is siphoned off
before it even reaches the store. If one had the power to alter
the records, none would be the wiser.

We do know however, how Gelynglas was able to grant them
immunity from the law and why the police and DA's office are so
deathly afraid of the contents of this letter being made public.
As with just about all intelligence gathering agencies, it is
oftentimes necessary to cultivate relationships with unsavory
types in the underworld in order to keep abreast of what the
badguys are doing. Gelynglas put his connctions to good use it
appeared as he was able to access the client list of every
prostitute in the area and thus entrap anyone in the constabulary
or judiciary who happened to be numbered amongst such ranks. By
all accounts,this was quite a considerable number, putting the
police and courts in these terrorists' pockets. There were also a
brood of lowlife police on hand to do their bidding for a price,
even going so far as to steal weapons for Al-Qaeda out of the LAPD
arsenal.

The letter Zakir wrote also referenced Al-Qaeda's ties to
Iraq. It was here that my piers and I at the bureau who read over
this letter took the most frightening turn yet in our journey into
the heart of darkness, resulting in two more revelations that were
nothing short of mind-numbing. The first was that Saddam Hussein
indeed had a war-chest filled with weapons of mass destruction and
that the reason we're having a hard time finding them is that he
parcelled them out to over thirty terrorist groups all over the
world including several hundred drones to the American wing of
Al-Qaeda/IRA/Meibion Glyndwr. Smuggled up through Mexico, these
were to be hurled at the Alaska-pipeline once the coalition forces
attacked Iraq. Indeed, the reason that Saddam parcelled out these
weapons, including twenty-eight million dollars worth to Sinn Fein
to be given to the IRA in Northern Ireland proper, was that he
hoped to use these terrorist groups to help stage what Zakir
called "a Tet offensive of terrorism" in which all these groups
would simultaneously attack in their own respective locales in the
hopes that it would divert the coalition away from Iraq to quell
these anti-partisan activities in the coalition's rear-area so to
speak.

However, before parting with weapons he felt so vital to his
defense,Saddam needed proof that the September 11 attacks were no
fluke and that indeed their caucasian confederats of the IRA and
the Meibion Glyndwr could infiltrate the American infrastructure
at will as they claimed. He had heard from Bin Laden that these
two groups had infiltrated NASA and so he set forth a challenge:
blow up the space-shuttle Columbia in such a away that no trace of
sabotage would ever be suspected. He even supplied special
weapons for tis purpose called the "the ticks of Allah." The
shuttle's destruction would serve as a secret signal to Saddam
that they could indeed back their claims of perfect stealth
whereupon he would send the drones forthwith.

True to their word, these Celtic groups destroyed the Columbia
handily with no one suspecting terrorism to this day. It's
heartbreaking to think that its director resigned feeling that the
crash of the shuttle was due to his own incompetence.
With the weapons of mass destruction divvied out in a timely
manner, their "Tet offensive" was all set to begin when the US was
to attack. Unfortunately, for Al-Qaeda & co, their plans were
about to unravel. Shipping drones through Mexico required bribing
of the Mexican police and customs people and so this event would
have been somewhat known in corrupt circles. It wasn't long before
one of the drug cartels caught wind of these things and wanted
them for their own to convert them from weapons to means of flying
drugs across the US border. Unfortunately, for the drug lord in
charge, the terrorists took elaborate security measures to conceal
the movement of these things. However, the cartel pulled off a
brilliant strategic coup by outflanking Al-Qaeda and co and
bribing various smuggling ring members to betray the location as
well as steal some of the drones the terrorists had already stored
in Los Angeles. On the Texas-Mexcan border, an ambush soon
followed during a shipment of these drones in which the henchmen
of the cartel decimated the ranks of these three terrorist groups
and made off with the prized weapons. As a result, the
Tet-offensive of terrorism that was to save Saddam never came off,
much to his dismay. Since Al-Qaeda & co could not attack, the
other groups apparently lost face as well.

In addition to stiffing the terrorists their four million
dollar take of the quarterly earnings the stolen goods brought in,
the Giorgio Armani manager consummated the double-cross by mailing
Zakir a letter-bomb which, as it turned out, failed to go off in
an imbecile attempt to sever the smuggling ring's ties to Al-Qaeda
& co once and for all.

The letter, laced with a bological agent, which was mailed to
the Giorgio Armani store was meant as a retaliation for the letter
bomb the manager sent toZakir.

Feeling it was not enough to tell the manager that if the
substance tainting the letter didn't kill him, he and his
compatriots would do so in person, Zakir felt he needed to launch
into a grandiose admonition in which he reminds him of all the
blessings that Al-Qaeda showered him and his piers with, and then
tries to instill in him the gravity of just how grievous a wrong
double-crossing them was. It is through this curious personality
quirk of Zakir's that impelled him to say all these things that we
have so much information about Al-Qaeda and the smuggling ring as
his letter was a full ten pages in length.

The letter, with its tales of off-duty officers providing
security for the underground sales of these stolen goods, trial
tampering, and other such shining examples of corruption in
officialdom which served Al-Qaeda and their smuggling ring so well
would make for something of a public relations nightmare for the
powers that be if information of this got out in the press. That
this fact was not lost on them was impressed upon us quite
forcefully when LA's odious district attorney Steve Cooley paid a
visit to our branch-office a few days after the letter came back
from another round of lab tests.
