Victory over IRS crooks from Tax Court

Dear Freedom Seekers,

The exciting announcement below is from one of the great freedom tacticians of our day, Ed Bruning, who is a recognized DREAM TEAM freedom law expert. Read his important announcement and pass it on to others:
_______________________________________________

In a stunning defeat today for the IRS, the U.S. Tax Court ruled that I.R.C. section 7521 requires the IRS Office of Appeals to allow us to make audio recordings of Collection Due Process Hearings.

In its precedent setting decision, the Tax Court held that the IRS Office of Appeals violated the law by denying Irwin Schiff follower Curtis Keene of Las Vegas, Nevada, of his right to audio record his Collection Due Process Hearing.

On May 2, 2002, the IRS Appeals Office put out an inter-office memorandum that totally forbade audio recordings of CDP Hearings. Appeals claimed in the memorandum that it was not bound by the terms of I.R.C. section 7521.

Subsequently, Appeals scheduled a CDP Hearing with Curtis Keene. Keene demanded that he be allowed to record the Hearing. The Appeals Officer refused. Keene then terminated the Hearing.

In his Tax Court petition, Keene raised no other issue but that Appeals' denial of his right to audio record the Hearing was a violation of his right to due process of law.

Curtis Keene's victory represents a mighty blow struck on behalf of all of us against the arbitrariness that so thoroughly permeates CDP hearings.

The wailing and gnashing of teeth that you may hear is coming from IRS Appeals Officers throughout the country who know their dastardly deeds in CDP cases must cease--or be placed "on the record."

Just minutes ago, I concluded a telephone conversation with Curtis Keene. He told me that he wanted to "let the word go forth" about what he called "a victory for those who cherish due process of law."

I ask that you please support Curtis Keene, as he has supported us with his victory over IRS caprice, by spreading the word of his gigantic triumph.
