blueridgeRE: 4TH OF JULY--George W's hypocrisy!Wed Jul 2 22:29:50 200369.43.17.125Whoever the writer, who signed as George W., doubtfully the President, is, this is politically-correct hypocrisy, the propaganda of the infiltrating opposition. Let us examine the writer's argument, founded only upon the APPEARANCE of patriotism and loyalty to American principles, as he--and the rest of the Pharisees, "polish the tombs" of the forerunning prophets and patriots of American independence, while overlooking and avoiding the very principles and laws for which they fought!- What would George Washington think and say about George W.? Are their principles the same?- What would Thomas Jefferson say about the CIA, FBI, DARPA, the all-seeing eye of the IAO, and the office of Homeland Tyranny (alias Homeland Security)?- What would Patrick Henry say.....Heark! I think I hear him now....of the so-called USA PATRIOT Act and the centralized power of the so-called Federal (actually Central) government?Patrick Henry, upon his speech against the stamp tax, warned of the tyranny of King George's dominion over the colonies, though few in cents it was high in principle, when he gave a solemn warning, to resist the tyrannical laws of English Parliament..... "Caesar had his Brutus, King Charles his Cromwell....and King George....(cries of 'Treason, treason!' were heard by loyalists in the convention hall, but he continued after great pause...).....King George ought to learn from their example...If this be treason, let's make the most of it!" The present Caesar..King George W...ought to learn as well! That is what the 4th of July is all about.....independence from tyrannical government and its anti-Constitutional laws and innovations, for which those great men sacrificed property and even lives. Tomb-polishers and flag-wavers such as the writer "George W." hide behind their monuments and symbols, but applaud the present tyranny which those brave Americans fought against! "United we Stand"? Not with this Nazi-like machine! Patrick Henry would not be welcome in America today...and was most hated by the loyalist factions. He would have marched on Washington already, or seceded and left. The South tried the latter, 140 years ago, but were brought by gunpoint back into the coerced "Union"...by forced oath of allegiance, and martial law...and enslaved by the first Republican Caesar...Lincoln. (See his Caesar-god monument and idol on the Potomac, in his Roman Temple shrine. There have been a succession of Caesar's ever since). On Independence Day, it would be more appropriate to fly the "rebel" Confederate battle flag (X), than "old (overturned) glory", a symbol of resistance to tyranny and reminder that the Constitution has been overthrown since then.Patriotism is principle, not an idolized symbol. Patriot's burden... Elias Alias, Thu Jul 3 13:56
