A Humvee is engulfed in flames in this image made from television after US troops in Baghdad came under attack Thursday, July 3, 2003. The vehicle was reportedly hit by a rocket propelled grenade while on patrol shortly after 10am local time. It was not immediately clear as to the number of injured. (AP Photo/APTN)

Bring 'Em On (#1 in a series)

Here they come. Burning Humvee

An America soldier was wounded when a rocket-propelled grenade was fired at a military vehicle in central Baghdad in the latest in a series of attacks.

The soldier was given first aid by his comrades on the scene while the Iraqi casualties were taken to hospital, the cameraman said.

Iraqis then set the damaged Humvee on fire, hurling stones and shoes at the burning vehicle. At least one Iraqi civilian car was hit in the attack and at least one of its occupants was wounded.

And this:

Six U.S. soldiers were wounded in western Iraq on Thursday when an explosion hit their convoy in the latest attack on occupation forces, the U.S. military said.

The wounded soldiers were evacuated to a field hospital following the attack in the town of Ramadi, some 100 km (60 miles) west of Baghdad.

Update: See the picture up close. This burning humvee is a symbol of Bush's utter disregard for the safety of our troops in Iraq.

Distribute far and wide. Don't let people forget that this is what happened the day after Bush said "bring 'em on" from the safety of the White House on the other side of the world from Baghdad.

Bring Them ON??!! He Really said it, he frigging really said it!!!!

I had to go wash my face; do a Google Search and now
here it is on the news; our President said to Iraqis
to "bring them on"??!!! He challenged Iraqis to
attack our soldiers? As some of you know, I am a
Desert Storm soldier. I have been there; I proudly
wore our uniform; carried an M16 and worked on M1
Abrams tanks. There has been a huge divide in this
country about what it means to be a patriot; whether
those of us against this war are against our troops.
Peace loving Americans do NOT wish harm to our
brothers, sisters, husband, wives, fathers and mothers
who are in Iraq doing what they are ordered to do. Is
it just me; am I having some sort of Post Traumatic
Stress reaction? Is supporting our soldiers, bringing
peace, building a nation helped by open belligerence?
Bring Them ON???!!

I am shaking, I am frigging sick; I was labeled as
anti-American for marching against this war and this
guy says "Bring them on"?? It is in the news; he
really said it; I SAW him say it!! How are the war
supporters going to react? Yeah Bush; you tell em;
argg; let them f**k with us; we'll shoot them up. Of
course that kind of reaction would be natural for a
guy who never wore a uniform or was ever shot at or
who doesn't give a s**t if our soldiers come back
whole.
