Stew Webb is a special case.

I called Stew Webb several days ago when I saw Herb Jameison assert that Stew Webb was giving legal advice to Doug Alexander. Webb denied this placing Herb even more in a bad light. There is no doubt that Stew Webb is a loose cannon --- sometime pointed in the right direction sometimes not. He knows alot of key people. He is easily taken in. He lived with Ted Gunderson for a while for example. I have no reason to believe that he is not the son in law of Leonard Milman --- a Carl Lindner level billionaire connected to SILVERADO and the HUD and S&L looting.

I assume that Stew is reading this now. For some reason Stew likes to shock people and will go to extremes to do it. In our conversation he told me that my friend Barbara Honegger was recently murdered and that I could get the details from a SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE reporter who I called who then told me that he knew nothing about that and he never spoke with Stew Webb about the subject. We then had a very productive 3 hours conversation about Charlie Keating. For most sources such shocking "inaccuracies" would be unforgivable. But Webb does produce valuable information and that is probably why Ruppert and Fitts continue to speak with him as I do. It is just necessary to sift the good from the bad. Much of his reporting is the product of uncontrolled mania but some is the product of unusually high contacts. While his reporting may be compromised by his efforts to obtain funding he appears in every way to me to be his own person and not working for a hidden agenda of anyone else.
