I invite you to join a discussion group that centers on the problem of uncovering and combating government corruption, a topic honoring the memory of Brian Downing Quig (1949-2003.)

I have chosen you because I respect your thinking and your heart on this subject and your qualities as a discussant. I belive Brian would have approved of this initial list.

I will not be submitting my regular postings here -- so don't worry about double postings from me. I will limit myself to occasional comments on your messages and forwardings.

I will be the gatekeeper for new membership only. All members publish freely. The public will have access to our archives. One goal is to serve the public with the benefit of your thinking and of information you forward.

I think we all will enjoy the company of intelligent people of good will dispassionately seeking the same goal.

I expect ideas will be viciously attacked and gloriously sustained in a liberal collegial community of study and discussion.

I should add that this is not intended as a replacement for good groups you currently belong to or moderate.

At least try it as an experiment.
