I too am concerned by the apathy demonstrated by many Americans relative to the Iraq / Middle-East conquest under Bush. The fact is most Americans are victims of propaganda slanted to support whatever the new Fuhrer dictates as policy. So called conservative talking heads shout sieg heil to Bush daily and march in lock step with the butchers of Bahgdad, Perle, Wolfowicz, Cheney, Powell, and Rumsfeld.

Blaming the horrors and murders in the middle-east on Christians is a rather simplistic approach to a far broader problem facing Americans. While I would concede the fact that this "American Terrorism" on the peoples of Iraq is impossible without the support of the Christians of America, I can not agree with putting the blame squarely upon the Christian community as much as I would blame it on ignorance and deception. I'm sure that there are atheists that support the war on Islam, the war on Iraq, and would be satisfied to see America crowned Caesar.

Bush may claim to be a born again Christian, but Satan is a liar and a murderer from the beginning. Bush and his whole family are liars, murderers, and the lowest form of filth existing in human form upon the planet earth.

I am a Christian and I am adamantly opposed to Bush and the war. I am concerned that the writer of the previous message has taken such a simplistic view of Christianity, God and war. Reductionists attempt to put God in a human frame of reference for the purpose of questioning what God does. God is not man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent. Paul Tillich has said that it is as blasphemous to define God as it is to deny Him. I agree.

Christians are being villified for their faith when they should be villified for their supreme ignorance. Todays Christian has a dusty Bible lying somewhere unread and allows his knowledge of God to be whatever some evangelical huckster tells him. Bible critics don't bother to read it either and both of the aforementioned speak in ignorance.

God's word foretelling of events that at some point in time bring cataclysm upon the earth is a sharing of knowledge not a design. The design belongs to the elitists warmongers of Bush's ilk, and demonizing Christians for what is happening today is just plain wrong.
