Dear American Veterans,
Your help is needed. It is needed to help carry out a most important national program. A program to turn our nation away from it's destructive course. I have chosen a title or moto, "ABOUT FACE AMERICA". Our nation needs to do an "about-face" and return to ideals and goals requiring our surrender to standards widely accepted as proper.
My personal request to you is to take charge in your local area:
Extend the challenge
Locate support groups
Involve all veterans, civic leaders, law enforcement groups, churches, and neighborhoods.
Get out the vote
Challenge the domestic enemies
As veterans, we each took an oath, "To defend the United States and it's Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, so help me God". We have carelessly allowed many domestic enemies loose in our beloved country.
Spending at our national level is out of control with a 6 trillion dollar debt - a diaster for our children.
Taxes taking half our income for decades to come.
Our culture is being destroyed by Hollywood, rockers, and rappers, aided and abetted by the news and entertainment media.
Drug culture is destroying the minds and bodies of our youth, even adults.
Education is failing - we lag behind leading nations of the world.
Family values are being desecrated.
Ethics and morality are given little consideration.
Our armed services are being downsized. In this country a lack of readiness has cost lives, many, many lives.
The Solution:
All 27 million veterans, plus those in service, must join with their families and friends to work together to lead our nation in a new direction based on these themes:
Freedom is not free
Strength brings peace
Readiness secures freedom and saves lives
Upgrade our culture
Why veterans?
Because Veterans are a National treasure.
Because they have the numbers needed to make a difference.
Because they have served our nation with honor, loyality, and patriotism.
Because they possess a special dedication based on their service.
Because they display special service in family and community affairs.
Because a strong cohesiveness has developed through service.
Those of Christian persuasion read from the scripture, "My brothers, you were called to be free", which undergirds a belief that freedom is the noble cause of humankind. Those who loyally serve freedom enjoy a great strength forged in a crucible of torment and heroic sacrifice. In our liberty, which our God has provided us, should He not expect, even demand of us, to serve as good stewards in the cause of freedom throughout the world. "Long may our land be bright with freedoms holy light."
This century's cost to our nation's freedom has been extreme. Visit our veterans hospitals and national cemeteries from time to time and cherish the memory of those represented by the hundreds of acres of white crosses and markers there. Those represent the high cost of the freedom we enjoy.
That great patriot, Patrick Henry set the pattern for us. "Give me liberty or give me death". We cannot protect freedom with a halfhearted commitment. "Liberty or Death" means a total commitment to victory!
To the veterans of America, I challenge each of you, and I would indeed be most grateful if you help make this program succeed, and we will have a better America.

About AVIDD Most veterans agree that we, as a nation, are headed in the wrong direction, in many priority areas of our society. The Constitution and Bill of Rights is not functioning as our Founding Fathers intended.
AVIDD was founded for the purpose of bringing American Veterans together as a diplomatic movement to increase the awareness of the public to this erosion of our rights and to bring political pressure to bear upon our lawmakers, to return this nation to Constitutional government.
Until now, American Veterans have been an untapped resource in fighting this erosion. When our Veterans speak, they demand respect.
AVIDD reminds all American Veterans that you took an oath to defend the United States against all enemies, "both foreign and domestic." In your military capacity, you were called upon to defend the United States against foreign enemies. AVIDD now calls upon you to continue to fulfill your oath and help us defend this nation on the political front, against equally dangerous domestic enemies.
