"Show Time!" In Waco

Producer Sharon Surhoff writes:

I have agreed with The Castillo Theater, 500 Greenwich St. Suite 201, NYC
(near Canal and Spring Streets) to have a reading of the play this Sunday at
noon. The project is called: "Reading plays; Talking Politics" There is to
be a discussion after the reading, which is open to the public.
This theater specializes in political issues of controversial nature. It
accepts no funding from the government which allows it to choose freely what
it deals with.

The dramaturg, Dan Friedman, said eight to fifteen Branch Davidian lobbyists
have been invited. This sounds like a great beginning for getting some
attention to the play and prisoners. Do you have any contacts in New York who
would be interested in attending?

I'm hoping that if there is enough support for the reading, a production of
the play will result. I have submitted it, (or a synopsis, if preferred) to a
number of theaters from NY to CA, including TX, CO, and MN.
I am open to suggestions for theater possibilities I may have missed.
If you hear of anyone interested in producing it please do let me know.
Perhaps it can help move people from apathy to activity.

Hope we can stir up some interest now Bush is in office and the truth has a
better chance of surfacing.
