Dear Mr. Karczewski,

I appreciate your research and efforts to raise the alarm. We need more people like you. We need your example of self-motivation to get off our duffs and DO SOMETHING.

At one time I shared your rage against Freemasonry, as I beheld how the Lodge had betrayed our nation, not once, but repeatedly. I hope to describe those violent feelings in great detail in my book, "Life With Trouble". Let it suffice to say, I had considered some of the most drastic responses, but heeded a caution I had received in Laurens.

When you attack an institution directly, you provoke a response -- and this often has the effect of unifying of their members behind a public outcry of "persecution". They become stronger.

It is often better to infilrate and subvert from within. As I show in my writings, that is how Freemasonry had been undermined and subverted once before.

I also refer you to my brief essay on The Lodge, in order to show how the Lodge might be redirected toward its proper place, and why this must be so.

Simply put: an organization is not better or worse than the people who make it up, and those who direct its activitios. If it is made up and directed by good individuals, it will be a good organization.
