The UN was established in order to provide a base for the new State of Israel. Although the process leading up to that state was begun as early as 1917, after about a 1/2 century of Zionist intervention into the politics of Europe and Great Britain. All that had to happen was the holocaust for most of the Christian world to realize that it was payback time in reverse. No one ever said Christians make sense. The reverence of their belief, blinds them to logical positions. Religion and politics do not mix unless it's a religion based political system such as communism. Being anti-God is a religion in reverse.
