APFN: Noticing the comments on the WWW, I just couldn't resist sending this
bit of info: "666 & The World Wide Web: There is a curious fact about the
origin of the Internet - it grew out of thin air. No group masterminded it.
In the beginning , it had no planning council or board of directors. In
fact. it simply grew out of the need for global communications and
availability of computer communications. At first, it was used by academic
staffs as a inexpensive communications device between the world's
universities.Then business and banking caught on. The rest, as they say, is
history. Soon, a "network" developed. This term , shortened to 'net',gave
birth to the official name, 'Internet.' However, hackers and other devotees
soon gave it a familiar, colloquial name, 'the web.' So the 'network' became
a 'net' which soon became a 'web.' As it grew, it became the 'worldwide
web.!'
Curiously, this latter designation, rather than its official name,
Internet,formed the basis for its address prefix; in other words, 'WWW' for
worldwide web. Usually when you want to contact someone on the internet,
you type the three letters 'www' followed by a dot, then his specific
designator.
It is fascinating that in the international alphabet, the letter 'w'
for 'waw,' is used to translate the Hebrew letter vav into the standard
Roman alphabet. Vav, the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, represents the
number 6. So, in a sense, when you type the three letters 'www,' you are
entering the Hebrew equivalent of '666.'
We have all known for a long time that the Antichrist will need a
global communications system to carry out his evil schemes. Now, we have
one with his initials on it."
