    The Last-Minute Man
Why Man’s Law, But Not God’s?

Well I may be a little late, like 30 seconds to closing time, but it’s the heart that counts, right? This is my life’s story, always at the last minute.

I’m an American, who is now standing up for my God given rights, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Religion, and all the rest. I believe America was founded by a majority of Christian Protestants, who were escaping the religious tyranny of the Church of England and the Vatican in Rome.

Let me just take a minute to say I think the reason America has lost so many of her freedoms is because her religious leaders have been teaching her children that Jesus did away with the Old Testament. So since we do not believe the same things our founding fathers believed, we cannot maintain the same freedoms that those beliefs established.
I think this is the end all, on the question of what right and wrong is, and is the one thing that will re-establish those freedoms we have lost. We need a public reading of God’s Laws in both houses of our Congress; from the Protestant Bible with the original Ten Commandments still in it.

Let’s explore the reasoning behind doing away with God’s Laws, Holy Days, and over one hundred and fifty statues explaining in detail how to govern our nation.

    Those are for the Jews
We are not under the law
Do not judge me in food or drink
    Christ has made everything clean

To get a clear picture on these arguments, here is just a brief review of history that will give some insight into the rationale for not keeping God’s laws, though most would agree that the Ten Commandment are to be kept, but that is as far as we are willing to go in keeping the Old Testament.

When Christianity was taking over the known world, the Jews became a targeted group because they were viewed as not accepting Jesus. So when the new Christians, who were the pagans of Rome, were forced into Christianity, the whole of Rome was ordered to keep Sunday, the first day of the week, as the Empire’s official day of rest, but the Jews were keeping the Sabbath on the seventh day as were other Christians. All of the first Christians kept God’s Seventh day Sabbath and the seven Holy Days as Christ did.

So you see, for over a thousand years anyone who did not keep the officially decreed day of rest, Sunday, were persecuted. In fact there was an official religious split over these issues ; are we to keep God’s laws, or just confess faith in Christ and take the official church communion to be saved. That split is called the Protestant Reformation. Even Martin Luther finally agreed that you cannot run a society without laws; after he saw the effects of a few years of lawlessness in Germany by those who believed Luther when he published that all we needed is Grace.

To make a long story short. I’ll just say; the Jews are only one of the Twelve Children of Israel. Paul said, what do we abolish the Law through Grace, God forbid we establish it.
Paul also said that if he offended any with food and drink that he would not eat. That is, that if you are eating food in a pagan temple, there is no offence unless the host or someone offers it to that pagan god with words of honor, and you should not eat it then. If you read through the book of revelations you will find several references to God’s Commandments, unclean things, and eating meats sacrificed to idols, which is most likely the Holidays we do today, which are not what God Commanded us to keep, but grounded in paganism.

And why is it that we do not do any of God’s Seven Holy days? Or why is it that we do not do them anymore in America, because I suspicion that history has been covered up by the churches who have saturated our cultural with their European philosophy of the Church and State relationship, which is socialism. This is where they get their money, from the state for their social programs, and do not think that this church, with state support, is at all tolerant as of dissent. Look at Waco and Ruby Ridge; they were Protestants that kept God’s Holy Days, and His Laws.

Sounds like the Dark Ages to me. The Protestant Bible is banned from our children’s schools; the Catholic Holidays are taught and promoted in every government institution, even on the White House lawn, Christian fundamentalists are labeled extreme, hunted, framed, and killed.

Yes, too simple to be true, right? Who does not want a solution to homelessness, over-taxation, loss of freedom, crime, abuse, poverty, and all the other crisis’s manufactured for our apathy and dysfunction? Is it not those whom make their living off of these things? Are not these problems the life roots of hospitals, courts, prisons, sweatshops, banks, and more, whom are the merchants of the Tyranny? The Church and the State, better known as Babylon and the Beast.

Our forefathers knew how they worked and they wrote a Constitution to keep both the government and the church from oppressing us, but they played on our weakness of tolerating offensive behavior to the point that we are now the “extreme” ones. Abortion used to be considered wrong for thousands of years, as many other crimes, but now we are so wise we can play God and arbitrarily decide, which innocent life is not worth living.
