How we can triumph

Doug is right. How many that post on these boards dutifully file their tax returns each year? Naturally, the logic is to get some of what was paid in back. But why not take a different job - one which pays cash under the table - and pay in NOTHING? But no; that's not an option. It may mean having to live to a little lower standards, giving up some luxury, reaching compromises. Ditto for Social(ist) Security.
The common belief amongst christians is "God gave us 10 commandments". Yes, He did - and many more statutes as well. But the majority of these folks won't even keep those basic 10 Commandments; they have affairs, don't keep the Sabbath, and worship other gods (as Doug put it "Most of us would not independently decide to finance abortions, yet we tithe to a beast that assists in the performance of MILLIONS of them. [Thou shalt not kill]". To think that they would keep less obvious statutes such as observing the Creator's Holy Days as opposed to man's HoliDays (Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc., instead of passover, Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Unleavened Bread etc.) total intolerance of homosexuality (they were to be stoned to death), and especially the little things like not wearing mingled fabrics (try finding a pair of socks that are 100% anything) is like thinking a flea is going to crawl up an elephant's leg with rape on his mind.
We obviously think the Creator was without a clue when He told us not to eat pork, shellfish, or fat. We were told not to mingle seeds (commonly known as hybridization), but our grocery stores are filled with hybrid bell peppers, corn and almost every vegetable you can think of. Sure, they are bigger and prettier - but studies have shown they are nutritionally inferior to purebred varieties. So we happily gobble up shrimp and McDonalds hamburgers (which are 30% fat), and get our groceries from the cheapest possible source as opposed to growing our own or getting certified organic purebred varieties from specialty stores. Now we are paying the penalty for those violations in the form of having compromised immune systems and the highest rates of cancer and heart disease of any nation on earth.
The Creator didn’t have a clue what He was saying when He told us to use gold and silver as our monetary system. Hell, we can’t wait to write a check, use our credit cards, and spend Federal Reserve Notes. So now, we live in a country on the verge of bankruptcy and the possibility of financial collapse.
If only we would realize that indeed the Creator knew what we needed to live happy, successful lives; and followed His simple system of several hundred laws, we would have no need for the 2.5 million laws on our books. His laws covered everything we need to live by even in these days.
I’d say giving God the finger - telling Him we know a better way, and we’re going to make new laws to fix His mistakes - is the biggest mistake of all. So all us good law abiding citizens need to realize that we are most likely breaking the law too. At least the law given by the One that has the power of life over death. The Creator summed it up quite nicely when He said in Deuteronomy 30:15-20
15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;
18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

I personally haven't paid one cent in income taxes (nor filed) nor Social Security for over 10 years now, and have no intentions of doing so. I haven't had a Drivers License for over 6 years and have no intention of getting one. I refuse to feed the Beast, nor hold hands with him. I put my fate in the hands of the Creator and choose life. Now it's YOUR TURN!!!!! If we all do it, we will win!!!
