We have already learned that smallpox vaccine is extremely dangerous to people
with compromised immune systems or Eczema.
Since Bush has had visible skin eruptions on numerous occasions, perhaps the

Bush to get first smallpox vaccine

US President George W. Bush will be among the first Americans to roll up his
sleeve to receive the potentially deadly smallpox vaccine.

Outlining a risky plan to protect America against the killer disease which
America fears could be used by terrorists, the President revealed he and about
one million military personnel would receive the vaccination.

"As commander in chief, I do not believe I can ask others to accept this risk
unless I am willing to do the same. Therefore, I will receive the vaccine along
with our military," he said yesterday.

Further details of the scope of the US vaccination plan emerged as America
announced its preliminary analysis of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's weapons
declaration fell far short of satisfactory.

Ten million police, medical and other emergency officers will also be jabbed
next year as a precaution against a possible smallpox attack.

The dangerous vaccination -- which kills recipients at a rate of about one in a
million -- will be provided on a voluntary basis for the entire American
population by 2004.
