They tried to burn him out, but he was long gone, and the officer killed was by friendly fire, but of course they killed the accused, so it could never be disputed, as another case in CA.

They are using eminent domain formerly a seldom used law, now frequently as an excuse to seize of property. It's like Robin Hood (a communist concept), taking away long established businesses and giving it to another business with more pull and power in the community. Under infractions of CARA, and hostile BLM are attacking ranchers seizing their property. We see what happened to the poor farmers in Klamath Falls under the guise of some endangered species that was not endangered at all. Everyday, all over the country these events are happening, but just not making mainstream news. People are getting fed up, and we may see more of this type of reaction in the future.

The police are doing less law enforcement, and becoming more militarized with funding from FEMA under Homeland Security, with National Police Insignias shoulder patches, and dress in Swat Team garb to appear more intimidating. People are being beaten, sometimes to death or even shot, when deadly force is not indicated.

The FBI is planting evidence, and then lying in court with immunity and impunity. Often they barge into private homes, kill the people, only to find they have the wrong address. In one case, they frighten an old lady so badly, she had a heart attack and died.

Trial transcripts our being changed and the originals thrown in the garbage. Attorneys exposing corruption in government are jailed to muzzle them. The FBI are complicit in the drug cover-up and refuse to go after the real criminals all the way up to the state house. The innocents go to jail, and the guilty are never prosecuted. This is becoming the rule instead of the exception.

Crimes are now being prosecuted as acts of terrorism under the Patriot Act -- Hitler must be drooling from Hell.

In the case of Rick Stanley, he was arrested and jailed for exercising his 2nd. amendment rights, and was not permitted to mention the word Constitution at his trial, even though it was the premise of his case. "The facts and the laws don't matter anymore."

I am a non-violent person, but the founding fathers would not tolerate 1 mill tax (1/10th of a cent) on tea, and if they were still around, there would have been a 2nd. revolution long before now, so nothing surprises me either. I would prefer to see a Constitutional restoration.

Two Officers Killed in S.C. Standoff

ABBEVILLE, S.C. -- A father and son angered by a state plan to seize some of their land for a highway killed two officers who went to their home, setting off a 13-hour standoff and a "horrendous gunfight," authorities and neighbors said.

The Bixby family had decided that they would defend their land to the death, authorities say.

"This was planned," State Law Enforcement Division Chief Robert Stewart said.

The gunfight was so fierce that police at one point had to bring in extra ammunition, Stewart said. Agents found suicide notes, anti-American material and items that may relate to militias, Stewart said.

Arthur Bixby and his son, Steven Bixby, 36, were charged with murder in the deaths of the two officers, authorities said Tuesday. Steven Bixby was to be arraigned Tuesday; Arthur Bixby, was still being treated for gunshot wounds.

Arthur Bixby's wife, Rita, was charged with being an accessory to murder, and all three also are charged with conspiracy, officials said.

Neighbors said the Bixbys were angry over the road widening project, even though it would take only a portion of their land.

State Transportation Department workers reported last week that they were threatened when they laid out survey stakes, agency spokesman Pete Poore said.

On Monday morning, Abbeville County Sheriff's Deputy Danny Wilson was sent to the Bixby home. When he didn't report in, two other officers went to the house. One of those officers, Donnie M. Ouzts, was fatally wounded near his car, but the officer with him escaped uninjured, authorities said. Wilson's handcuffed body was later found inside the house.

Hundreds of officers surrounded the Bixby home while Rita Bixby holed up in an apartment in town and told police she would start killing people indiscriminately if her son or husband were hurt. Authorities did not say whose apartment it was.

During the standoff, the Bixbys destroyed two remote control robots sent in help for reconnaissance, Stewart said.

The gunbattle erupted Monday night and went on for nearly 10 minutes while police fired tear gas into the house. Steven Bixby gave up shortly after the battle, but Arthur Bixby wasn't removed for two more hours.

"I've never seen so much force," Stewart said. None of the family members tried to negotiate with officers during the standoff, authorities said.
