Appreciate your sentiment, Chris, but you're going to catch it on this one. The U.N. has never been intended as a forum for debate. From its inception, in the ashes of the League of Nations, it was intended as the vehicle for a One World Government.
NATO is a regional arrangement under the quasi-authority of the U.N. as envisioned in the U.N. Charter, and as pointed out in the NATO Charter. Those relationships are evolving, as they were intended to do.
It's time to dissolve NATO, under which many soldiers have served honorably, bring the troops home, and let Europe take care of Europe. They will go through withdrawal, as the narcotic of American tax money is pulled away, but they will survive, and be stronger for it.
