The reasoning behind Al Gore's attempt to undermine the election is sound. If he and "the Evil One" lose their hold on power, the day of reckoning is at hand. Eight years of scandals have basically gone unpunished because of a totally corrupt Justice Department including the FBI that gave 900+ Republican files to Hillary. Time and again, those files were used for blackmail or the implied threat of blackmail on members of the House and Senate who might otherwise have stood up to the Evil One. Eight years of stonewalling, coverups,obstructing justice and treason will be exposed if Al Gore does not stay in power. He must hope for a win in the courts or face the courts as a defendant.
