Title: To amend title 18, United States Code, to ban using the Inter-
net to obtain or dispose of a firearm.
To the Colorado Delegation:
Gentlemen and Ms. DeGette:
It is with a combination of anger and disbelief that we write
to you in reference to H.R. 1702, which deals with the rela-
tionship between the Internet and the possession of firearms.
With this proposed legislation, both the 1st and 2nd Amend-
ments have been subjected to open attack! The audacity of
the sponsor, Ms. Patsy Mink of Hawaii is monumental! Her
ignorance surpasses that audacity beyond measure! The ig-
norance of Congress, as a whole, as regards the whole-sale
violation of Constitutional limitations upon the Federal Gov-
ernment are, at best, appalling! The most damning evidence,
to date, gives indication that you are not lacking in knowledge
of exactly what you have chosen to do! The ignorance involved
relates to your evident belief that the entire American popu-
lace will relinquish all God-given and Constitutionally mandated
rights and walk blithely into the waiting arms of the U.N. with
it's predisposition toward totalitarian governance!

Under the provisions of H.R. 1702, users of the Internet would
be forbidden to engage in the sale or purchase of firearms.
This would serve to strip the American citizen of his 1st Amend-
ment rights, as it would limit that which he could legally say in
reference to his own property or that which he desired to pur-
chase. It would remove, as well, his 2nd Amendment right to
keep and bear arms for purposes of self-protection against the
intrusion of the criminal element upon his right to be secure in
his papers, property, etal as per the 4th and 5th Amendments
to the Constitution. It would also disavow the reasoning of the
Founders in placing the 2nd Amendment so prominently within
the original ten. That purpose, as is well-known even to the soph-
istic mind of the U.S. Congress, is to prevent the intrusion of
government into areas forbidden it by Constitutional fiat! Their
own experience with the Crown of England had been quite tell-
ing, and they took pains to insure the new nation against a recur-
rence of such vile usurpations of the rights of man to life, liberty,
and the pursuit of happiness!
Two hundred and twenty four years have passed since the dawn-
ing of that first Independence Day! We have now come full circle!
Both of the elements present at Lexington and Concord exist to-
day! WE THE PEOPLE have become subject to taxation with-
out representation through the treasonous submission of U.S.
sovereignty to the globalistic power-mongers of the U.N.! The
demands of the W.T.O., the I.M.F., Gorbachev, Annan, and every
3rd World potentate with visions of U.S. wealth dancing in their
heads as we approach the coming Christmas Season bring vis-
ions of death and destruction to the mind and heart of every
American Patriot! Is America to be gift-wrapped and tied with
a pretty bow and placed beneath a U.N. tree? Are we to be
plucked and stuffed and roasted for consumption by the raven-
ous hordes of the New World Order?
WE THE PEOPLE have been forewarned! And, we now warn you:
not one inch of America's lands will be reliquished without a fight!
We will not fire the first shot, but if so engaged, will not back down!
I will neither bend my knee nor bow my head to the task-masters of
New York! Bilge-iam, Hitlery, The seeping Gore, etal. will not live to
see America's Patriot masses submit to U.N. sheerng as so many
sheep set for slaughter! If we die, we will die free!
It seems, at present, that all that is left to us is secession. For,
you who have vowed to uphold and defend the Constitution of these
United States have forsworn those oaths in favor of political expedi-
ency, self-preservation (in the face of exposure by Clinton's personal
blackmail team), and personal gain! Are you now salivating in the
expectation of cushy rewards from the hands of your U.N. masters?
We doubt they will hold such a treasonous bunch in any height of es-
teem! Having dispensed with the heads of those who chose to stand
for freedom, they will turn their sights upon you, lest you choose to
betray them, as well!
These words may seem harsh! But, we find them appropriate to the
actions of your Houses! We find them inadequate to fully express the
extent of our outrage when confronted with your lack of integrity! It is
impossible for us to comprehend how you can engage in the disenfran-
chisement of the nation and continue to perceive yourselves deserving
of any title save that of "Traitor"! We know of the many Benedict
Arnolds among you! How many are willing to identify themselves with
Nathan Hale,Patrick Henry, John Hancock, Paul Revere, Benjamin
Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, The Swamp Fox, the
Boston Tea Party, or Lexington and Concord? Had you been present in
Boston during those fateul days of decision, would we still be singing
"God Save The Queen"?
Defeat H.R. 1702! Prove your worth and your honor! Or, go home and
leave the governing to men and women who possess the courage to
stand firm for the sovereignty of this nation!
