In Fiscal Year 2002, the Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded more than $5.47 billion to states and localities to assist with criminal justice activities. The Justice Department's second annual report details all funding the Department's Office of Justice Programs (OJP) and Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Office have awarded to each state and territory. (Award amounts have been rounded to the nearest dollar value, therefore, minor variations in total award amounts may exist.)
