IMP. NOTE at bottom: I caught Mike Malloy on Air America the
other night, and this article was the subject.
I met the great an unflagging freedom fighter, S. Brian Willson,
almost twenty years ago at UCLA and his wife gave me her only
Gandhi button. He talked about the use of white phosphorous in
Nicaragua, then, and how it had reminded him of his initial
radicalizing experiences when he was a gung ho AF man in
Vietnam. Not gung ho, though, from the days after he saw a mass
atrocity, which caused him to puke, then have a life changing
experience.
You may recall he was the man, capital M, who had his legs cut
off by a Navy train which committed a near fatal assault on him
while he and friends were protesting the shipments of WP from
Concord CA to Nicaragua, by blocking the tracks with their
bodies. I saw him a few months later, with his prosthetic legs
(which were hidden under pants) and he simply shrugged it off
and kept on ticking.

PS Depleted Uranium (

Chernobyl Vodka. It makes Hitler's war crimes look like an
OctoberFest kegger with rowdy antics, in comparison to what
we're doing to Iraq. My understanding is that we have left, from
our contaminated missiles and shells, 250,000 times the
radiation in Iraq as we left in Japan, at the two A-bomb blasts.
(That was not a misprint.) This is so big a threat to humanity,
the war itself pales in comparison. I hope people get the word
out. Apparently DOE doesn't like me talking about it, as they've
already sent Lt. Col Roger Helbig after me, till I blocked his
posts, and then USNRC sent me a ten pound mailer on an EPA
"report" on their enrichment facility in Lea County, NM:
unsolicited. With a preprinted label to my post office box,
which I give to few people. So, they wanted to silence me for
even speaking about this, but I'll behave when they behave.
Neither seems likely.
Still, I hope you and others get the word out about this, as I
consider DU the World Number One Threat. Other things are
reversible. DU isn't one of them. Last year one Army unit came
home: out of 20 troops, 8 had cancers their first year
back...........
Whew......And that's just us, you should see the deformities to
Iraqi children. This S#@t has got to stop, and we need to stop
them......JE
We the People. That's our commission, that's our job. Let's do
it, or go down trying.
