Leaked Documents Prove Cheney Plan B!

Unconfirmed sources report that leaked campaign documents prove Cheney may be dropped from ticket for 'health' reasons. The secret memo outlines what the writer, Karl Rove, calls Plan B. In Plan B if the election is close Vice president Cheney will fake an illness and allow the President to select a more popular running mate. Careful media management and manipulation of national pride figure prominently in the plan.

The details of the plan still coming to light, but or source indicates that if the election is a dead heat Vice President Cheney will suffer a 'cardiac event' on September 1st. The event will happen live during a televised press conference and Cheney will be rushed to Walter Reed hospital. The national media will rally the country to pray for our 'beloved' vice president. A media blackout of 24 to 48 hours, depending on how it plays out, will keep everybody glued to the TV where President Bush and Lynn Cheney will drum up as much sympathy as they can.

The Kerry/Edwards campaign will quickly suspend all TV and radio ads as the nation holds it's breath waiting for news of Cheney. Kerry's poll numbers are expected to slip up to three points as Mr. Bush and Lynn Cheney spend time at the hospital in settings calculated to maximize national sympathy.

The vice president will undergo 'testing' to determine his ability to run over the next several days. During this period several possible replacements will be talked up in the media. Meanwhile the President will show his loyalty to Cheney by not talking about a possible replacement. Pollsters will take many snap polls to see which of the possible replacements adds most to the ticket.

On September 8th the decision will be made as to weather a replacement VP will help Mr. Bush's chances. If one of the replacements polls better than Cheney with the sympathy vote then Cheney will be deemed 'unfit to run' by his doctors. In a tearful speech broadcast across the nation Mr. Bush will announce his new pick for VP. The new VP candidate will then accept and give a speech that talks a lot about his call to service and how proud he would be to stand in for Cheney.

The Plan B bounce is expected to be up to five points and will peak the week before the election. If the plan works it will make the difference and Bush will remain in the White House for at least another four years.

Washington insiders are calling the plan brilliant and just they type of thing Karl Rove would think of. One White House watches confided "We have been on the lookout for something like this from Rove. He has a tough job this time around he really needs to pull a rabbit of his hat to win this election. I figured they had Osam Bin-Ladin on ice somewhere and planed to 'catch' him in September, but the Cheney 'health issue' is not one I had thought of. I think it could be a real winner."

The Bush/Cheney campaign denies the existence of the documents, and said that Dick Cheney would hold a press conference to refute the charges, but that right now he is a little under the weather.
