Text of fax broadcast:
NEW YORK, NEW YORK * 5 NOVEMBER 2006 Citizen of the USA Stephen M. St. John addresses the international community in Washington and here in New York City, all members of the US Congress as well as other organizations and individuals, public and private, and reminds all that justice is the sure foundation of a sovereign state, and that lack of justice is an actual cause of unrest and instability and even the collapse of a nation. In this regard, Citizen St. John deplores the US travesty of justice against Saddam Hussein in illegally occupied Iraq and reiterates strong doubts about the very identity of the star prisoner in the Green Zone of Baghdad; official photos of the real Saddam show teeth that are radically different from the star prisoner's, and Saddam's wife, Sajida Heiralla Tuffah, at a brief meeting with this star prisoner when he was kept at a US installation in Doha, emphatically denied that he is Saddam Hussein, her husband of more than 25 years! Citizen St. John notes that the same Bush administration and news media that lied about 9/11 and WMDs in Iraq -- and continues to lie about Iran's use of nuclear power -- also colluded to keep Saddam's wife's unsettling observation -- and its implications -- from the attention of the US citizenry. Citizen St. John alleges that the motive for perpetrating this fraud is twofold: fear of public outrage and, chiefly, fear of the real Saddam's testimonies were they ever to be heard in a court of law in the USA or at the Hague. Wherefore, Citizen St. John renews his call for proper measures to be taken forthwith to establish the identity of the star prisoner in the Green Zone, and to this end proposes a visit with the star prisoner by Saddam Hussein's wife and daughters and other family members and trusted friends, who will travel to Baghdad for this express purpose under the auspices and protection of the United Nations. Citizen St. John declares this request is a fair request, denial of which would be as cruel and unusual and illegal as the unjustified invasion.
