Forty years ago under the leadership of president kennedy. The democratic party fought to restore the civil rights to the blacks in this country. Sending in the national guard to the south to quell the riots in the streets. to assure the children the right to go to a school which was not segregated. To drink out of a public fountain, to eat in any restaurant, sleep in any hotel ride where they wish on a public bus. Stop the lynchings and un mitigated police brutality.

It was at this same time that the south and a good portion of the mid west left the democratic party and joined the republican party.

Keeping in mind that a good portion of this area is referred to as the bible belt. Where southern baptist, evangelical christians,fundimentalist, snake charmers, people who speak in languages unknown to man or receive divine messages from above, reside....

For the past forty years the democrats have continued to strive to bring equality for all to this country, fought every step of the way by the republican party.

Since president kennedy the democrats have controlled the white house a total of 18 years. Johnson,Carter, and Clinton. During the carter and clinton era, the congress was controlled mostly by republicans.

The supreme court shifted during this time from a liberal court under warren to a far right wing conservitive court under rhenquist.

Now, once again it seems that this country will be led for another four years by a man re-elected by the holy rollers of this country and the bigoted white population of the country.

People who put stem cell research, abortion,and gay rights .
Ahead of things like health care, jobs, tax breaks for the rich, social security and the fact that we have over 1100 dead kids in a war that was not necessary to fight. One hundred twenty to two hundred billion dollars thrown away with another seventy five billion needed this comming year. all, while we have hospital emergency rooms closing at alarming rates in this country and medical cost reaching astronomical heights.

Medicine so expensive that we have to seek lower prices in foreign countrys. yet being blocked and declared illegal by this administration to protect his rich pharmacutical friends.

Well, congratulations, my republican friends. you have won. This president will now elect several supreme court justices who will no doubt overturn roe verses wade and ammend the constitution to exclude gay marriages and probably many other things that will rule your lives for the next thirty or forty years.

I have some predictions of my own....

Vice president Cheney(if he doesn't die first) will be ousted from office in shame if not imprisoned.

Ashcroft will slither away from his position to devote moretime to covering statues in parks so there privates don't show.

Colon powel, will suddenly realize his skin is different than the presidents and resign his position.

condoliza rice, well, who knows what she will do...

Rumsfeld, wolfowitz and his group will continue to act like they know what they are doing an continue to cost lives of american kids in Iraq.

Iraq will become the next vietnam and eventually the downfall of this president.

The deficit will reach astronomical proportions. Social security will bankrupt. The rich will continue to receive tax relief while the poor suffer the middleclass disappears.

Our European friends will continue to shun us
Our enemies will take advantage of the price we are paying in Iraq and our lack of adaquate troop strength and probably attack us froma new front. Adding to our present problem of war on terror.

There will be an disastrous event in our own country before this president leaves office which will make 9-11 look like atea party.

Jobs will continue to be scarce and the ones available will be lowpaying.

Gasoline will soar to even higher rates.

schools will continue to suffer and education will reach even a newer low than present. the only ones who will be able
to afford college will be rich arabs..

The government lands set aside for future generations to enjoy (by democratic policies)will be used to drill for oil and our trees will be cut for timber. global warming will continue to rise. The ozone will contine to grow and acid rain will getworse.

Oh well, hey.... what the heck.....at least we will stop abortion and by god no one is going to be doing any stem cell research and for sure those lezbos and gay guys will never get married.

Besides, Now we have a strong leader.....(who hid under daddys wing when it came time for him to serve)

A religious man as our president... (who is the first president elected with a criminal record for drunk driving, a devout christian who sits in the white house and gets drunk falling down and hurting his face then says he choked on apretzel)
or falls off his bike and scratches his face at his ranch and ofcourse it wasnt booze just a bike accident.
A religious man who while governor of texas, oversaw the killing of over 570 convicts. Isn't murder a sin?
A religious man who stood in front of this country and lied to it's populus about weapons of mass destruction and rods to be used for nuclear weapons so we would voteto go to war. When he new the real reason was to show daddy how tough he was and to help his friends get even richer with the oil spoils from iraq's vast oil supply.
