If you want to really start an non-violent counter attack against the elite ruling class go pick up and read any standard American college textbook on Sociology. After doing so it becomes very clear that the U.S. Federal Government protecting a capitalistic class system needs poverty in order to function properly. Poverty in the USA is a multi-billion dollar industry.
Poverty provides a never ending supply of military recruits and cannon fodder for the for profit military industrial complex. Poverty insures that there will be criminals to fill the prisons which then give inmates the opportunity to manufacture low priced goods for ruthless C.E.O.'s looking to maximize their bottom line.
Without poverty there is less of a need for police officers, probation officers, lawyers and so on. Now you know why the U.S. Federal Government has intentionally been suppressing legislative policies that would insure economic and social justice for all people. Do your homework and find evidence of barriers both political and corporate designed to insure a permanent separation of income classes.

Millions of Americans starving to death due to a dependence on corporate farming will do almost anything for a morsel.
