Did your vote count? Or did hacking make it meaningless?

I know that many people believe that democracy in America is already dead. Well, it's certainly not in a hale and hearty condition, I'll grant you that. But on the off-chance that it at least still has a pulse, please set aside your skepticism just long enough to help keep it alive:

http://ideamouth.com/voterfraud.htm

In Gahanna, Ohio, 638 voters came to the polls, and somehow 4,258 votes were counted for Bush.

In Parma, Ohio, the voter turnout was allegedly 94%, with 40% of voters failing to cast any vote at all for President - the one race that virtually every voter participates in.

In Miami-Dade in Florida, Voter Turnout was 716,574; 768,553 votes were cast for president.

Electronic voting machines are full of security holes. Some of them have been documented. Some haven't. Some of these holes have been exploited.

Your vote is your voice... and someone is trying to steal your voice.

If we cannot trust our elections, 200 years of democracy come to an end. Call your representatives today, to insist on an investigation of the E-Voting in this election. Be polite, but show your outrage. If your representatives don't care, assure them you will remember this when casting your ballot in the next election.

Write letters to your local newspapers; maybe even talk to some actual reporters, who might be in a position to dig.

If you belong to any other mail lists or newsgroups, pass this information along.

And above all, encourage people to get active in this.

This cannot be stressed enough: If whatever party is in power can perpetuate its hold just by rewriting election results, we no longer have the ability to vote them out. Democracy is officially over when that happens.
