some joke, everyone knows rayelan and a few people on her board all post under different names, she is trying to set US up, again, as usual....don't fall for this ruse

Remember what RMN has done to so many other posters? libel, slandered them, vicious spewing BS....she is the pot calling kettle black, something else is going on, maybe she's under investigation (finally) for fraud?

She is so full of shit, it's beyond comprehension.

RUMOR MILL NEWS HAS BEEN THREATENED WITH A LAWSUIT

This happens about once a month. I have been threatened with lawsuits for everything from slander to refusing to allow someone to post on RMN. I have also been threatened with lawsuits from ex-agents who accuse me of stealing their work by allowing it to remain on RMN. I have turned all of them over to my lawyer who was able to handle them with no negative after effects for RMN. The only negative after-effects were the legal bills. Needless to say, this is the ONE reason RMN has so many rules and regulations for our agents. When agents don't abide by the rules, RMN and I am the ones who suffer.

This time the stakes are far higher.

One of our ex-agents posted an article that appeared to be a summary of a newspaper article. However, the article posted by the ex-agent included a few lines that were NOT in the newspaper article.

These added lines slandered and libeled a private individual... something ALL RMNews agents know is NOT ALLOWED here on RMN. See below for these rules from the Agent sign-up page. All agents have to agree to abide by ALL of these rules or they will not be allowed to become agents.*

The lawyer for the wronged party is asking me to provide information on this agent. My lawyer told me not to have anymore contact with this lawyer.

I am NOT able to provide information on this agent because I never knew his real name or where he lived. Most agents post anonymously.

I suspect that what will happen is the lawyer from Europe will invoke an internet law that will give him permission to take RMN off the internet while he and his minions search our records.

I am alerting you to what is going on, because if Rumor Mill News disappears, I want you to know that I firmly believe I was set up by this ex-agent and the people he "works" for. I am not even sure this ex-agent in ONE person. The volume and quality of the articles he wrote appear to have been written by a committee, not by one person.

If I were you, I would join the yahoo emailing list. If RMN gets knocked of the web, I will send you an email so you will know where to find us.

* Personal Vendettas against private citizens. Private citizens CAN and DO sue when they are libeled! The difference between a public figure and a private citizen should be fairly obvious!
