Sajida Heiralla Tuffah, after the Russians demanded she be allowed to visit her imprisoned husband Saddam in Qatar: "This is not my husband but his DOUBLE... You think I do not know my husband?" Sajida shouted furiously, "I was married to the man for more than twenty-five years!" Then she stormed off, never to return.
This remarkable confrontation was reported by Pravda and four other newspapers in the east between 13 and 17 April (2004), but the New York Times and others made damn sure you didn't read or hear about it in the west.
