Here is a short version of Mayday 16 sent out involving FEMA
response in Florida. Let me know if you need the FULL MAYDAY
series to file in another garbage can for fuel use in case you
need to cook a meal in the field or a terrorist act causes
greater loss of power and water or food.
Should anyone get caught up in such loss of electricity it is
hoped ALL are alerted to use of CITIZEN'S BAND RADIO
TRANSMITTERS AND RECEIVERS WITH SPEAKERS for alerting the public
and telling large groups what is happening when supplies are NOT
in the area. USING WELL WATER, TANKERS FOR WATER SOURCES AS EACH
BUILDING HAS A WELL ALREADY IN THE GROUND... ALSO WELLS CAN
SUPPLY UNLIMITED WATER TO FIGHT FIRES. USE OF
GENERATORS/INVERTERS FROM ALL CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES WHO USE
THEM DAILY to provide electricity to power Oxygen units in homes
as well as in Hospitals. WHERE ARE THE CONVOYS OF VEHICLES FROM
ALL COUNTIES AND MUNICIPALITIES WITH THOSE POWER UNITS AND GAS
TANKERS ACCOMPANYING THEM TO KEEP THE UNITS RUNNING?
Florida should have learned the lessons shown by Rita and
Katrina and instead learned how FEMA cannot do anything for the
public in a disaster... only move trucks filled with supplies
onto highways without police escorts and let them run out of
fuel when National Guard and Military units have fuel trucks
along with every major emergency section of any municipality or
county government unit. Contractors have trucks filled with fuel
pumping systems to supply fuel to COMMERCIAL EQUIPMENT on every
major job site. Contractors top off their equipment daily if
necessary. I see you have thousands of National Guard troops
standing off to the side with weapons at the ready... FOR WHAT
WHEN THE NATIONAL GUARD UNITS TRAVEL WITH THEIR OWN FUEL, WATER
AND FOOD AVAILABLE! WHERE ARE THE HELICOPTERS DROPPING PALLETS
OF FOOD AND WATER INTO NEIGHBORHOODS? WE DO THIS AUTOMATICALLY
IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES BUT CANNOT OPEN UP LOCKED STORES IN EACH
NEIGHBORHOOD TO REMOVE FOOD AND WATER OR GENERATORS FOR
EMERGENCY USE BY THE PUBLIC WHEN SUCH ITEMS CAN BE BOUGHT AND
PAID FOR BY F.E.M.A. RIGHT ON THE SPOT!
Florida's Governor along with his brother the President should
really sleep well in the special housing provided, eating
special meals cooked by the best available person and drinking
any number of fluids provided by the Secret Service even from
MacDonalds in the middle of the night if required. EACH should
spend one week with the people in the shelters, eating the MRE
meals if they arrive and using the buckets or five gallon pails
for urine and fecal matter deposit... wiping themselves with
paper towels or newspaper and listening to those thousands
crying in their sleep or during the day trapped in homes without
basic water needs being met. Cold weather is arriving and WE who
were born in the 30's or 40's can tell them how WE survived
without food and water before FEMA and NATIONAL GUARD were given
such tasks to keep the strongest NATION on the planet SAFE!
Shame on you Mr. President. Shame on you Governor Bush as
neither of you learned anything from carefully worded and
written MAYDAY messages number 1 through 15 provided to you
during Rita and Katrina disasters. Florida now suffers what
other states will suffer IF there is a real disaster or
terrorist attack and now the WORLD knows you cannot provide for
your own people and all of the AID given was just money spent
for charity in other countries. CONGRESS IS WHERE DURING A
DISASTER... EXCEPT FOR PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES LIKE A PRESIDENTIAL
VISIT!
I have my extra CB Radio's with SPEAKER available to tell the
public anything in those long lines.
I have my several hundred gallons of water to drink stored
safely.
I have my inverter which will power anything necessary in this
house even an oxygen generator stored in a closet.
I have my food stocked which will allow me to live without FEMA
assistance for weeks if necessary.
I have my BICYCLE for transportation to any point within five
miles to pick up MRE or WATER or FUEL.
I have my Amateur Radio equipment which can be allowing me to
communicate with CALI COLUMBIA if necessary.
I have my clothing to ward off the cold.
I have my medicine from the VA for over 30 days supply.
I have automatic deposit into my bank for my social security
payment... now going minus $78 for Medicare Part B payments from
that check.
I have NO CASH ON HAND because perhaps the BANK TELLER MACHINES
will not work without electricity and FEMA does not have any
CARDS because the bank teller machines or CREDIT CARD MACHINES
ARE NOT WORKING! But of course I forget... WE HAVE ELECTRICITY
FOR OUR BANKS AND GAS STATIONS HERE IN TAMPA!
I HAVE ALL OF THE ABOVE BASED UPON MY CHILDHOOD AND EXPERIENCE
DURING A WAR SINCE MY FAMILY WERE NOT RICH OR FAMOUS NOR
GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS LIVING AT TAX PAYER EXPENSE WITH THE FINEST
MEDICAL CARE AND QUARTERS PROVIDED FREE ALONG WITH FULL
RETIREMENT AFTER FIVE YEARS SERVICE!
But, Ruth at 75 and me being 64 as working class, should tell
you something that only your father knows.... WE learned how to
survive using wells, cooking plants and wild onions using wood
when some rich people sent their kids to the BOY AND GIRL SCOUTS
to learn such skills. WE hunted squirrels and rabbits for food,
had gardens for our food products along with milking cows or
goats for milk. WE LEARNED quickly but it is very ODD to see
American's driving twenty miles to receive one bag of ice and
three bottles of water in lines when military and police or fire
units could deliver these same goods HOUSE TO HOUSE with proper
disaster planning and NO ONE WOULD HAVE TO DRIVE! Those same
people drive miles when the source of water is down the street
or next door! The GAS will not last and in an emergency they
become stranded in the long lines without a gas station or pump
tanker to fill them up. ONSTAR CAN BE USED TO GET FUEL ON THE
ROAD... IF AVAILABLE!
The RICH get the food and water when the poor without GAS or
vehicles must starve or loot buildings to survive???? Even the
MEDIA come into the area during daylight hours then PULL OUT at
darkness... they go home and eat, sleep and drink whatever then
return the next day refueled and start reporting again....WHY?
THE WORLD IS WATCHING YOUR RESPONSE TO YOUR OWN PEOPLE! LOOK at
what other Nations are doing for their people! They learned the
lessons early!
How many warehouses are in the disaster areas with food and
water LOCKED DOWN due to no electricity? How many MILLIONS OF
MEALS are rotting in the Supermarkets LOCKED DOWN when FEMA
could cut them a check and release the food, water, drinks and
even BEER to the public in an emergency. FEMA HAS THE MONEY,
FEMA HAS THE ABILITY TO PROVIDE FOOD AND WATER ON EVERY BLOCK
FROM EVERY PUBLIX, WINN DIXIE, KASH N KARRY OR OTHER STORE....
YOU JUST HAVE TO REMEMBER WHERE THE FOOD AND WATER ALREADY ARE
AND THAT FOOD AND WATER IS ROTTING! The store owners WOULD open
for the Police or FEMA! Especially since they would be paid for
the water, food and drinks or other items which may BURN and
then the insurance company pays them off!
I will NEVER depend upon FEMA to save Ruth or myself Mr.
President, Mr. Governor or Sheriff Gee!
AMERICA HAS SHAMED ITSELF! Basic countries of the world have
opened up those stores to give the people what is necessary...
WE do nothing but say "HELP IS ON THE WAY!" and tell people via
radio and TV to show up miles away knowing the FUEL WILL RUN OUT
and these same people will become victims quickly and even DIE
if not helped properly.
HOW MANY IN HOSPITALS CANNOT BE MOVED BECAUSE THE CONVOYS OF
BUSSES ARE NOT PARKED OUTSIDE THOSE FACILITIES. HOW MANY SCHOOL
BUSSES ARE BEING USED TO TRANSPORT HUMANS IN AMERICA TO OTHER
AREAS RIGHT AS WE SPEAK FROM OTHER COUNTIES IN FLORIDA? HOW MANY
OF THOSE BUSSES AND OTHER VEHICLES ARE BRINGING IN WATER AND
FOOD TO BLOCK AREAS SO THE PEOPLE WILL NOT HAVE TO DRIVE OR
DEPEND UPON AMERICAN'S GOING MILES IN A CAR TO GET TWO BOTTLES
OF WATER TO SAVE THEM?
Take your PROTECTIVE DETAILS and live with the people... then
you will understand what they need!
THE OLD PEOPLE KNOW HOW TO SURVIVE! You have a duty and
obligation which is being ignored because you put incompetent
people in the position to save American's when they have no clue
but are skilled at SHOPPING OR GOING TO THE MALL! Where are the
military soup kitchens as thousands of troops are in the
field... you know them as CITIZENS! Feed them and dig those
holes for sewage... give them well water to wash their hands
with soap to prevent disease... YOU have the portable homes and
aircraft with those toilets and water sources plus food packaged
and cooked onboard. Think American! THINK AMERICA!
DO YOU REALLY THINK THE POLLS ON YOUR EFFORTS WILL BE HIGH AND
SUPPORT GIVEN TO YOU IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS BECAUSE OF THE WAY
YOU HAVE HANDLED EACH DISASTER FROM THE STORMS AND 911? DOES
CONGRESS THINK THEIR REACTIONS TO YOUR ASSISTANCE WILL GET THEM
REELECTED TO THOSE CHOICE POSITIONS WHERE EVERYTHING IS PROVIDED
TO CONGRESSIONAL FAMILIES IN OFFICE?
DO YOU THINK THE TERRORISTS ARE NOT AWARE OF YOUR WEAKNESSES AND
INABILITY TO PROVIDE FOR PEOPLE DURING A NATURAL DISASTER LIKE A
HURRICANE AS HAS BEEN SHOWN IN THESE STORMS? WE ALL BETTER WAKE
UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE! WHILE THERE IS COFFEE TO SMELL!
