Why would anyone want to "free Lynndie England?"
All of the other issues aside, just examine her behavior. The photos of her with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth in front of a stack of humans, buck naked and stacked like wood. That big grin on her face was so repugnant.
I have no problem with legitimate interrogation - especially if it means saving the lives of American freedom fighters. I understand the horrors and misery of war. I am married to a retired U.S. Army Colonel who served in Viet Nam. However, this little witch was so enamored with her bed partner she would have done anything to keep him interested in her cheap, free favors - even something she knew was over the line.
Because this stupid female didn't stand up to her boyfriend or her superiors and said, wait a minute, I'm not going to participate in this, she plugs a smoke into her mouth and poses like she's participating in some clown activity. War isn't funny and ugly things happen, no question.
I'm sorry, but I don't feel Ms. England deserves anyone's pity. She has a child out of wedlock with the boyfriend who is also in prison for a long stretch. An innocent little baby with both parents in prison. Nice. She did have a choice. She could have refused a direct order and fought it out with the brass and JAG.
As for the lying about the reason to unconstitutionally invade Iraq, God willing, the American people will start seeing the truth about the occupant of the White House and the cockroaches who work for him.

The Iraq Torture Scandal: Why Bush is to Blame
President Bush may not have had direct knowledge of Iraqi prisoner abuse. But make no mistake, he is to blame. George W. Bush created an environment for abuse in the War on Terror right from the start. By proclaiming his right to detain citizens indefinitely without judicial oversight or even access to an attorney, he sent the message that the normal standards of justice no longer apply. When his administration dismissed the Geneva Convention with regard to Camp X-ray, it sent the message human rights were not a concern. And when Bush shrugs off missing WMD’s by saying it’s good Saddam is gone, he is arguing that the ends justify the means. When the Commander in Chief makes it clear that the rules no longer apply, human rights don’t matter, and the ends justify the means, he opens the door for abuse. George W.
