My Opinion on the Terri Schiavo Issue

I have tried to steer clear of the Terri Schiavo issue, hoping that maybe it would work its way out for the better. I should have known that I was in error with that mode of thinking, because the American people seem to always rush into something they don't understand and bungle it up, instead of focusing their attention on issues
that they need to be addressing, and leaving family issues to families to decide upon.

It is truly a sad day when a country through their ignorance, sticks their noses into something which is none of their concern, and beyond their comprehension, such as in the case of Terri Schiavo, when there are issues going on in our country daily that threaten its very existence that need our attention.

Terri Schiavo, for all intent and purpose, died 13 years ago, when the natural functions which every human requires to remain alive failed, and she became dependent on an artificial mechanism to keep her bodily functions operating. At that time she became a prisoner, suspended somewhere between the life she once knew, and the death that she was not allowed to experience.

People jumped right on the bandwagon, and passed judgement on a man they didn't even know, because another party they also didn't know told them that he was bad, simply because there was a third party involved, who couldn't speak for herself. An entire nation completely ignored the feelings of a bedfast woman suspended between life, and death, for no other reason than that of making them feel good about themselves.

People, it is time to wake up! God prepared to recieve Terri Schiavo's soul 13 years ago. It is the selfishness of man, and the family that keeps her form moving on to her final reward.
