Judith Miller is the go-to girl for the Neo-Con/Jewish (what's
the difference?) conspiracy to incite the USA to war, and not the
self-less journalist fighting for truth and light.
... outing CIA operative PLAME is NOT what
this investigation is about---outing Plame was merely a last minute
reaction to cover the REAL conspiracy---using fabricated evidence to
incite the USA to war. What is becoming clear is that what
Fitzgerald is investigation is where did the falsified Yellow Cake
reports originate, and who slipped them and promoted them into the
intelligence stream, and what evidence is there that they knew the
evidence was false.
I'm not sure how far Fitzgerald is going to get on this. I'm
certain that if he's not going to indict Karl Rove for leaking
Plame's identity to the press. No way, he's after bigger goals.

Whoever forged these documents and introduced them into the American
intelligence stream is guilty of violating this law:
"Whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive,
legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United
States, knowingly and willfully- (1) falsifies, conceals, or covers
up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact; (2) makes any
materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or
representation; or (3) makes or uses any false writing or document
knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or
fraudulent statement or entry; shall be fined under this title or
imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."
And this law:
"If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense
against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any
agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of
such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each
shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five
years, or both."
Furthermore, the conspiracy charge applies equally to the
unauthorized dissemination of classified information to persons not
entitled to receive it - as in the AIPAC spy case in which longtime
pro-Israel lobbyist Steve Rosen, his sidekick Keith Weissman, and
former Pentagon analyst Larry Franklin are charged [.pdf] with
passing classified information to Israeli "diplomats." Add to this
charges of perjury and obstruction of justice, and the total number
of the indicted and their prospective years in the hoosegow begins
to add up. What also begins to add up is the rationale for this
case, which has been only vaguely understood from the very beginning
(and I include myself as being among those unclear on the concept).
