Do you remember the following email that went through APFN-1 a few weeks ago?

"[What historian William Lind calls a ³rather obscure and difficult German philosophy² is the foundation for what Lind says in ³cultural Marxism² a deviation from the standard Bolshevik philosophy of revolution. According to Lind, ³cultural Marxism² is the basis upon which what we know today a ³political correctness² has evolved. Lind discussed this fascinating (and little known) intellectual phenomenon on Dec. 13, 1998 on the weekly talk forum Radio Free America. He was being interviewed by the host Tom Valentine. An edited transcript of Lind¹s visit with Valentine follows. The host¹s questions are in boldface type and Lind¹s responses in regular text.]

You¹ve determined through your study that what we know as ³political correctness² is not something that just happened. It was planned."

It has become increasingly evident that political correctness is used to control the discussion for public debate. It also allows a permanent victim class to be created because the problems of the class can never be discussed or resolved.

This became obvious to those of us who are involved with trying to stop illegal immigration. We are accused of racism but the issue of illegal immigration has nothing to do with race. It has to do with people breaking and entering into our country and the officials of our country failing to enforce the law. Selective enforcement of the laws is extremely dangerous to our democratic republic.

Fortunately, the people involved in trying to control illegal immigration have said.. NO.. we're not playing the PC game anymore. We're all done with that.

Admittedly, the few times I've listened to Peter Shank's program, I've cringed on occasion. But I realize that it is because we - as a society have been conditioned like Pavlov's dogs to cringe and shy away from certain subject areas. Peter has said... NO... I'm not going to play that game anymore. And I have to admire him for that - even though I don't agree with him on everything.

On the issue of race and the black community.... what is more racist than not telling black children that eubonics, gangsta rap and walking around with your underwear hanging out the back of your pants is socially unacceptable? What could be more racist than to isolate this group of people from the main culture by prohibiting normal cultural dynamics to work? Yes.. they are discriminated against - but not because of their skin color, but because of their behavior - but we can't tell them.
