Thanks a million, APFN, for digging out and presenting the
important data below, (the 2000 article-- Saddam turns his back
on greenback) which underscores the US invasion of Iraq, besides
its control of Iraqi oil and posture of regional hegemon. If the
ordinary, but pitifully uneducated American understood the
immense importance of the US status as the holder of the reserve
currency and what the consequences of losing that huge privilege
are, the Nazi element aka neo-CONS of the ruling elite would
have had no chance at the terrible destruction of the US as they
have, to date. Bill Gates will retain his billions if he dumps
the dollar for the euro or for the currencies of nations that
produce real wealth, like natural resources. And then come March
next year...when Iran opens its oil bourse? One hardly dares
think of the bloody consequences. Hmmm, will the U.S military
see fit to invade Microsoft or is the CIA the hegemon there
already? ac
