The petition calls for the FDA toissue a Final Rule on the drug category placement of anthrax vaccine asCategory II (unsafe, ineffective, or misbranded); to declare as adulteratedall stockpiles of anthrax vaccine adsorbed in the possession of BioPortCorporation and all doses in private, public, U.S. or foreign governmentpossession; to enforce its own Agency policies and provisions with respectto the anthrax vaccine, and with respect to the contracts inappropriatelygranted; and to revoke the anthrax vaccine adsorbed license (license #1260)held by BioPort Corporation.
