Laura FerrisAlmost Free at last ..........Mon Oct 14 16:08:36 2002204.189.23.111Almost Free at last ..........Date: Mon, 14 Oct 2002 04:19:22 EDTFrom: LauraferrisGBY@aol.com Hello, all those that care about our Freedom in the US --This is the first time that I have had the Time to write to all of you, since I was Falsely been Arrested on July 27, 2002 and released from the Jail in Bakersfield on September 23, 2002.I've had severe Stomach Pain for I do not know how long because of being tortured Day and Night for 4 Days short of the 2 Months that they kept me, and with only talking to an Attorney one Time, and then the Door was cracked open with the Jail guards standing right by it.This Nightmare started with getting Falsely Arrested in Delano, California on November 5, 1999. From that one and only Charge, they Maliciously charged me with 9 Felonies and 2 additional Misdemeanors. What's really funny is the Charges that they Falsely charged me with are the exact charges that I had against them with the FBI and other Agencies ! !>From the time that they arrested me first in Fresno, by the Fresno PD, by tricking me that the Judge Chase in Delano, Calif. wanted to talk to me about my charges against them in Delano, including the CHP and DA and Court Employees and that MY LIFE WAS IN DANGER OVER ALL OF THEIR CORRUPTION THAT WAS GOING ON IN DELANO BY THE DA AND CHP AND OTHERS AND THAT THEY WERE GOING TO BE ARRESTED. Judge Chase called me about 6:00 AM on Saturday Morning July 27, 2002 and said that he and the FBI were coming to Fresno, Calif. to talk to me for my safety and benefit. They were for one thing impersonating the FBI, and even told the Fresno PD this. When I was stupid enough to let the Fresno Police in, they said that they only wanted to take me Downtown to meet with Judge chase and that his Driver's License was Suspended and he was waiting for a ride with someone to come from Delano to Fresno. That was what was coming over the Computer in the Police Car that I was in, sitting in front of my Apartment. The Fresno Cops were sitting there with me waiting to find out when Judge Chase would be getting here, and I saw it myself what was on the Computer Screen in the Police Car.Finally they were told to take me on to the Jail to wait for Judge Chase, and I was Booked into the Fresno, County Jail. After a while and my repeatedly asking when Judge Chase would be there, they told me " what's going on with Delano, they want you really badly, they kept calling, asking do you have her yet ? Also that they were sending the Delano PD to Fresno to take you to Delano."They kept me the first Night, one Night at the Delano, Hole in the Wall Jail after charging me with 9 Felonies and repeatedly asking and terrorizing me if I were afraid of the 3 Strikes Law and if I would talk to them about it ( 2 really big Cops ).The Next Morning, which I wasn't sure if I was going to live to see, they took me to the Downtown Bakersfield Jail and tortured me for Hours until they put me in the General Population Jail Cell.Starting Monday Morning around 5:00 AM they Tortured me for over 12 Hours at the Delano Court, for one thing they keep you in a Room next to the Courtroom with a Window into the Courtroom, and it is so freezing cold that you are going into Hypothermia shaking so badly and sick to you Stomach that you nearly pass out and they won't let you go to a Bathroom and are chained in Shackles that are cutting into your Wrists and Ankles and Bruising them all of this Time.Judge chase threw out my Case to another Judge, Lying that I had threatened to kill him. I just walked out of the Courtroom, up to the Guards and said " I did not threaten to kill him." He is a Convicted Drug user, caught with a Prostitute in Las Vegas and a Major Drug Dealer, in fact his main Supplier he had to put in Jail and is there now at this time.So the next Day they kept me in Shackles in a Holding Cell 1/2 the Day to go back to Delano, to Court from the Bakersfield Jail and they never picked me up to go to Court. The next Day they did the same thing and kept me again for Hours in the Freezing room, waiting to see another Judge in the Superior Court, Judge Chase is a Municipal Court Judge. They kept torturing me freezing and sick over it until I told one of the Sheriff Guards that I would be filing Criminal Charges against them, his name was M. Robinson, if anyone out there knows him.I never did go into the Courtroom ( never had an Attorney come to talk to me ) but the Cop Robinson told me that they would be sending my Case to the Downtown Bakersfield Court because of a conflict of interests. I never got Arraigned all of this time, and didn't until August 2, 2002 at which time they dropped the 9 Felonies, after a Probation Officer was trying to make me a deal, which I refused and pled not Guilty to all Charges. My Bail all this time was over $120,000.00. I still haven't seen or talked to an Attorney.They set the Preliminary Hearing for August 16, 2002, at which time the DA stood up and said that she didn't know anything about the remaining 3 Misdemeanor False Charges and needed 3 more Weeks to find out what was going on. I did have an Attorney, Public Defender come up to me in the Courtroom where I was sitting and he told me " don't say anything you are being Recorded " I proceeded to say that " I was a Civil Rights Activist and that I had Counter Charges against EVERYONE INVOLVED and wanted something done about it and all of the False Charges against me dropped."He managed to say that 3 Weeks was too long and that 2 Weeks was enough for the DA to find out what the Case was about and for him to get their Evidence.Two Weeks later another Public Defender came to Court and she said that she needed 2 Weeks to find out what the Case was about, and they lowered the Bail to $30,000.00 for the 3 Delano and Bakersfield Misdemeanor Charges. ( Fresno still had 2 False Charges against me, one that I hit a Paramedic when I was Dead and Unconscious and the other that I harassed the DMV, but refused to press my charges against them, like attempted Murder by Stephanie and he Partner and the Driver of the American Ambulance Co. Ambulance and that the DMV was harassing me, and nothing was done about the CHP Cop that Lied and was causing my Driver's License to be illegally Suspended since December 5, 1999. I signed a Promise to Appear in Court in Fresno on those 2 Charges on September 11, 2002 and the Bail for those Charges was $67,000.00. So my total Bail at that Time was $97,000.00.)So, I didn't get to talk in Private until September 5, 2002 any Attorney and the Door was open so it wasn't in Private. She had me sign a Paper to have the 2 False Charges, the DUI and that I had told off a Woman that worked for the Delano Court and had answered the Public Defenders Phone and made fun of my Case and me, which is Obstructing Justice on her Part, she asked that those 2 Charges be dropped. On September 17, 2002 those charges were dropped and my Jury Trial Date had been set for September 23, 2002. She was supposed to come back on the 19th of September to see me and she said on the 23rd in Court, the Day that my Jury Trial was to start, that she went out to Lerdo and that they had moved me off the Farm and she had Claustrophobia and could not go to the Pod, Cell Block Unit to see me that Day the 19th ? ? ?When I got back to Jail from Court in Downtown Bakersfield on Tuesday the 17th, I guess they couldn't stand it that the Charges were being dropped so they tried to make up more at the Jail. At the Time I had been at what they call the Farm since August 14, 2002 at Lerdo, Kern County Jail in the middle of nowhere ( Central California, Farm Country ) between Bakersfield and Delano, California, and before that on the 2nd of August had me in the Cell Block, Pod area at Lerdo after taking me there from the Downtown Bakersfield Jail.So, they took all the Addresses and Phone Numbers of those that I wanted to help and those that wanted to help work with my Civil Rights Organization American Liberties Association, when they got out of Jail. They tried to charge me with a Crime for having the Addresses of the Inmates that were Friends of mine and took me off the Farm which is an Honor to be there where you can Smoke and be Outside like an Apartment Complex Courtyard, and Lockers and other things that you do not have at the Pod Cell Block Jail Units. Back at the Pod units they tortured me all Day then tried to force me to use a Top Bunk, knowing that my Leg and Ankles had been broken and I have damage to my Legs over it, thanks to the Paramedic Stephanie that nearly Murdered me and prevented me from getting Medical Attention, 3/4/01 who is Stalking me and trying to press Battery Charges against me for over a Year and 1/2.So, when I said that I hadn't had a Top Bunk and could not use one, they charged me with a Crime and 2 Days in Jail, that I argued with the Guard and refused to injure myself getting up on the Bunk Bed, the top one, which they knew I couldn't do, the whole time that I was there sine I was arrested on July 27, 2002. They tortured me 1/2 of the Night moving me around, until I got a Lower Bunk in another one of the Pods.Then on September 23, 2002, they were still trying to make a Deal with me in Court when I had gone there to begin my Jury trial, they did this in the Court for around an Hour then the DA stood up and said that they would drop the last charge also for lack of Evidence.Fresno, did not pick me on September 11, 2002 to appear in Court there on their False charges against me with the Paramedic Stephanie, that I had hit her when I was dead and unconscious and she was doing CPR Chest Compression's on me, and that I harassed the DMV, NOT .....So, when the last charge was dropped I asked the Public Defender to make sure that the Fresno charges had been dropped also, because they didn't come to get me to appear in Court in Fresno on 9-11-02, like I had signed a Paper to do so, and would have had they taken me to Fresno to do so.The Public Defender said that there was no holds or Warrants and that I was free to go home, after returning to Lerdo and getting released, after everything had been processed that Day.I get home Tuesday, September 23, 2002 and on Friday, September 27, 2002 I get a Warrant in the Mail from the Fresno County Sheriff. I put in Claims against the City for False Arrests and False Imprisonment and filing False Charges against me and refusing to arrest the Paramedic and the DMV Workers that were harassing and injuring me and keeping my Driver's License illegally Suspended, refusing to make me an appointment all Week after the DUI and all other Charges had been dropped.That Warrant had someone else's Charges on it with my Name and in the mean time the Public Defender here in Fresno said that he would appear in Court for me on Friday, October 4, 2002, to put a Hold on the Warrants so I could get my Driver's License, SO I COULD GET TO COURT ..... in the meantime he said that there were now 3 Warrants but would not tell me who filed the 3rd Charge against me. Friday afternoon after he was supposed to go to Court for me, I called and no one would tell me what happened nor has to this Day. This Friday October 11, 2002 I got the correct Warrants from the Paramedic and the DMV False Charges against me, but not the 3rd Warrant if there really is one or not I do not know, as of tonight as I write this to you.Friday I filed another Claim against the City, County of Fresno and the State of California including Governor Davis and Faxed the 20 Letters that I had written since September 24, 2002 to the State Attorney General, FBI, Media, DOJ, Mayor, Fresno District Attorney Hunt's Office, the Public Defenders Office, President Bush, the Governor and Lieutenant Governor and State Assemblyman Mike Brigs, to stop their Lunacy and corruption and failing to uphold the Law and our Constitution.The State Attorney General was about to file Criminal charges against District Attorney Hunt here in Fresno for Malicious Prosecution and filing False charges against people, which is about all that happens anymore, then they try to force you into making a Deal and pleading Guilty to the False Charges in order to not spend Years in Jail for something that you didn't do in the first place. DA Hunt, just before I was Falsely Arrested and spent 2 Months in Jail, Hunt was arrested Twice in a Month or so for DUI's twice over the Legal Limit and involving an Accident. The Girls I spoke to in Jail were spending a Couple Years in Jail for that, and less ? ?I am glad to be home and writing again to all of you, my Friends and fellow Activists and want to thank all that have done something to help me. It's not over yet, they keep on Torturing me and being the Terrorists that they are in our US Government, Police State that there is out there, VERY ALIVE AND WELL, AND I HAVE SEEN IT FIRST HAND IN JAIL. At least 75% or more of those that I met in Jail DO NOT BELONG THERE, there are Women rotting there that have served their Time and Immigration, the INS is so incompetent and stupid and disorganized that they do not know what to do with the Women when, they are free to leave the Jail, at the Taxpayers EXPENSE ! ! ! ! Like $16,000.00 a Year per Person or more, that's just to feed them and Etc. not the Court Costs, Cops and on and on and on and on.If someone on Probation or Parole doesn't have $11.00 for a Drug Test or Hundreds a Month for Court ordered Rehab, they put them in Jail for like 2 Years or MORE ....It is so sick and disgusting the Slaughter of Human Life that is going on in the Corrupt Police State that we are forced to live with in the GOOD OLD USA, THAT SOME PEOPLE STILL CALL A FREE COUNTRY, DON'T THEY ? SOME PEOPLE ANYWAY STILL DO SAY THAT THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY, AND THE TERRORISTS ARE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?I still need all of your Prayers and help in any way that you can help until the last of the False Charges are dropped which they will be, VERY SOON. Like $16,000.00 a Year per Person or more, that's just to feed them and Etc. not the Court Costs, Cops and on and on and on and on.If someone on Probation or Parole doesn't have $11.00 for a Drug Test or Hundreds a Month for Court ordered Rehab, they put them in Jail for like 2 Years or MORE ....It is so sick and disgusting the Slaughter of Human Life that is going on in the Corrupt Police State that we are forced to live with in the GOOD OLD USA, THAT SOME PEOPLE STILL CALL A FREE COUNTRY, DON'T THEY ?
