FEMA turns away Phoenix Police Officers ARMED

Each time he entered a specific jurisdictioin he showed his FEMA AUTHORIZATION PAPERS to bring relief SAT phones to FEMA and Law Enforcement and reportedly these people gave him a full POLICE ESCORT to his destination. LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS IN UNIFORM from Tampa or Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office with POLICE VEHICLES were no doubt welcomed to assist New Orleans or other Mississippi Delta area LEO's without question. WITHOUT FEMA AUTHORIZATION YOUR PHOENIX LEO'S WERE NOT RECOGNIZED BY SAYING "They have been DEPUTIZED AS U.S. MARSHALL'S and without those U.S. Marshall Badges and ID's they ran into a problem quickly being with an Urban Search and Rescue Team as LEO's without the Sheriff or someone in State Police Authority granting them access OVER FEMA who are NOT Law Enforcement in such matters. My suggestion would be to contact the Governor, Mayor and White House relative to FEMA stopping deputized Phoenix POLICE from assisting or guarding your units OR you simply get the local POLICE or STATE POLICE to protect you unless General Honore or Vice Admiral Allen provide TROOPS ARMED. My TV was full of private SECURITY groups with guns inside the areas.. but that may have been SECRET POLICE ACTIONS... especially when some told you get OUT or get SHOT! That should be an INTERNAL INVESTIGATION WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT CONCERNED AND THE GOVERNOR'S STATE POLICE. Those who supply FEMA materials were no doubt armed in their vehicles or persons but NOT VISIBLE ARMS and without a Phoenix Police Vehicle those people wearing some form of clothing, regardless of claims of being DEPUTIZED could not produce the proper ID's or were not checking IN with the local SHERIFF who could deputize them and issue BADGES AND ID'S for their use. Classic example was the California Highway Patrol who took a small calibre weapon from an old lady ON TV by jumping her when she said she did not want to leave her home and she had the weapon and bullets showing them to the LEO's when they jumped her.. NO POLICE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUT THERE ALONE WITHOUT LOCAL POLICE IN CHARGE! Perhaps this stifled your chances as the FEMA and local Governor or State Police had to stop such activities by refusing entry perhaps. NO SECRET SERVICE OFFICER OR U.S. MARSHALL has to disarm anywhere in the United States to my knowledge. Other sworn personnel from other State, County, Municipal Law Enforcement no doubt come with full uniforms and weapons BUT someone MUST CLEAR THEM BEING THERE ARMED IN ANOTHER STATE EVEN IN AN EMERGENCY ... Sheriff can deputize and authorize any visiting LEO in an emergency... FEMA will run them off unless proper credentials are obtained with full power to protect the citizens and military... I THINK! Would recommend use of CB RADIO CHANNEL 9 OR PHONES/E-MAIL to get authorization to come into a specific Sheriff's area BEFORE entering the Disaster Area under FEMA control. Next recommend use of those neat STROBE LIGHTS RUNNING BLUE OR RED when going through all areas... might get an escort in the way BEXCALL.COM people got full escort using a TRIPLE LIGHT YELLOW STROBE ON THE PICKUP PULLING THE GLOBSTAR SIGNED CAMPER WITH EQUIPMENT AND FEMA PAPERS IN HAND! Good Luck and forgive FEMA as this is the first time in this Nation's history that something of this scale has been used involving so many agencies and helping people WITHOUT COMMUNICATIONS WITH EACH OTHER. The old 40 Channel CB with a large magnetic tuned antenna allows ALL TO COMMUNICATE but everyone want's to bring some SAT or line of sight radio equipment costing thousands when the $200.00 radio and antenna plus PA SPEAKER would suffice for ALL to be on one frequency for miles around. Guess the NEXT DISASTER will bring forth the obvious communications equipment like WE use here in Tampa, Florida daily with the Truckers on Channel 19 and maybe R.E.A.C.T. or some Amateur Radio Operator on Channel 9 monitoring for emergency use and relaying FREE to the local police or fire if the BC ERA [Before Cellular Era] is remembered by the old timers.
