Once we were a free and growing county, isolated from the world. We invited people from all over the world to come and share our wealth. In our harbour stood a lady who welcomed all, we were isolated from the rest of the world. That is until world war one when Europe went mad fighting over borders, fiefdoms, royal families and hurt feelings. One of the reasons people came to America was to escape the constant change of their masters, who grew rich using the people in what amounted to a continent of enslaved people to keep royalty alive. Well the war was going badly; men were constantly deserting the allies. I cannot understand why, they lived in trenches full of mud, it rained water and shells all day but they got free food and clothing. Things could be worse but I think I would have deserted the lost cause among the first to go.

The US stayed out of it for two years and could have stayed out of it. We were getting rich making the guns and bullets for both sides, but the Germans got pleasure out of sinking our ships, even passenger ships. I have no idea why anyone would want to go to Europe in time of war. Wilson gave in and we embarked on the biggest ego trip of humanity, having never stopped sticking our nose in where it did not belong. There was never a war we had to get into but we did, and everyone was for political reasons. We are now the biggest terrorist group in the world.

For the first time in our history, we blatantly attacked two of the poorest countries in the world with absolutely no way of winning. I must inject here we were the ones who restarted the Viet Nam thing. We have spent four fifth plus of a century at war and have gained nothing but monuments to our dead.

The US should bring all of our military home, close all embassies and guard our borders. We need to become isolationistic, let our people live and die on our own land, live with our own energy sources and develop more. We need our scientists to work on things to help our people, not develop more ways to kill. We have to limit the power of the president and give more to congress and our justice department so the three are equal and it would be impossible to do anything without the three condoning the actions of the others. We need to raise our children to be patriotic by loving our way of life. We need the government to run the country and not the people. We need to import nothing and only export what is needed by a hungry world. If an American company wants to do business in America then the work needs to be done by Americans. If we import nothing then they are forced to make their products here. Let the world fend for itself, that way no one can argue we are forcing anyone from living as they wish. The world got along fine before our country was born, let them decide their own futures. Why would we worry about terrorists if we gave them no reason to hate us, we have decades of work to bring back this country to sanity.

It is possible to combine manufacturing with ecologically, we need clean air and water, including subsurface water, we have to bring our produce products to a higher rate so farmer do not have to plant so much it has to poison the ground in order to make a profit. There is so much to do I could write for hours, the thing to do now is take the first step on a long hard journey, break a leg.
