If it were a just world the whole lot of them would be sitting in jail. If you are a right wing 'conservative' republican bush supporter lets face it you are unreachable and delusional. I don't know if America will ever be what it once was or tried to be but republicans aren't helping. Personally I think it will take massive acts of civil disobedience to regain the kind of government the U.S. formerly stood for and aspired to. I don't think Americans are up to it. They're too busy watching TV and believing up is down and whatever else their media and their darling 'president' select tells them. Liberty takes heroism and courage and if there aren't more like Cindy Sheehan then democracy in America will remain a thing of the past.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate on Thursday gave final approval to a bill for tough interrogations and prosecutions of terrorism suspects, as President George W. Bush prevailed after a series of setbacks on his detainee policies.

The Senate passed the bill 65-34, hours after Bush was on Capitol Hill urging Republicans to stay behind the high-profile measure ahead of November 7 elections that will determine control of Congress
