Many years ago I had a mystical experience in which I was allowed to see what was ahead for America if she did not repent of turning
against God, Himself. Yes, other nations are guilty of all these great
transgressions but other nations were not blessed by God as this one was. Other nations were not chosen to spread the gospel throughout the world as this one was...'to whom much is given, much is required.'
While on earth Jesus said that it would be worse for Capernaum at the judgment than for Sodom and Gomorrah. Capernaum had been witness to His light, miracles and teachings...Sodom and Gomorrah had been given nothing.
Yes, we were chosen but this does not give us the license to do what we please because we believe that we are better than the rest of the other nations. We cannot consider that God will continue to bless this nation if she continues in her committed rebellion against Him. It is not so much the sin that He hates......but the pride that comes along with the sin.
In Deuteronomy 28 God promises to bless His chosen people, the Jews, if they continue in obedience to Him. Yet He also warns them of the curses that shall fall upon them if they disobey and turn their backs against Him. If He did indeed curse His own people when they turned away from Him.....what type of judgment do think awaits this proud nation? What awaits this nation defies description...if she does not repent....I cringe at the thought of what is coming to this once great nation.
9/11 and the hurricanes Katrina and Rita are just wake up calls. God is now calling this nation to turn and repent so that He does not have to cast upon her His final and very harsh judgment. He has no joy in that any soul should die only in that it turn away from its rebellion against Him.
Jeremiah 50 and 51, Isaiah 47 and 48 and Revelations 18 say it all. I am only affirming that it is true because I saw it with my own spiritual eyes.
God help us all!
