I know I am going out on a limb here and this thread, and my ideas, will probably be very unpopular, but here it goes:

I submit, that the ONLY reason for the Iraq "war" is the following:

The ONLY reason for the Iraq "war" is to implement the PROJECT FOR A NEW AMERICAN CENTURY (PNAC) doctrine.

Not because Saddam Huessin was a dictator. Not because Saddam Huessin supposedly had WMD's. In fact, it was the United States that supplied Saddam Huessin WMD's in the 1980's to defeat Iran during the Iran - Iraq War .

Some of the signatories of the PNAC doctrine are: Richard (Dick) Cheney, Jeb Bush, Paul Wolfowitz, and Donald Rumsfield.

The PNAC doctrine required an "event" to launch the Doctrine. This is why some people believe that the Bush Adminstration knew that September 11th was going to happen, or actually had a hand in planning the "event." Why was former San Francisco Mayor, Willie Brown "advised" about traveling by air on September 10th 2001? Why did Vice-President Dick Cheney order the U.S. Military to "stand down" during the attacks on America? 911 Commission Report

One of the priciples of the PNAC doctrine is to limit civilian liberties in the event of a "war." These limited liberties are commonly known as the Patriot Act and this document was passed by the Senate of the United States of America on October 25, 2001 under the guise of "finding terrorists." The Patriot Act effectively makes the United States a Police State where search and seizers and spying on Americna citizens can be carried out without a court order, labeling American citizens "enemy combatants" and denying them legal council or not charging them with a crime, indefinately.

The real purpose of the PNAC Doctrine is to consolidate power and wealth into the hands of a few by controlling the world's major economic resource - oil.
