KATRINA: THE BUCK STOPS HERE

I think Chertoff lies and lies and lies, which makes him a very good Bush supporter as well as does FEMA Michael Brown. Go to cnn.com for today’s Chertoff story: Katrina scenario did not exist. BS!!!

This article describes how Michael Brown went to Bush 2 years ago, asked for money which Bush gave to him do a “practice” hurricane of caste strophic force and guess where he did this practice: NEW ORLEANS. This statement came DIRECTLY from Brown’s mouth Thursday night in a FOX News interview.

To top this off; Thursday night on a national cable news network the weatherman showed impact force colored map used in the “practice hurricane (which by the way concluded July 26, 2004). This map showed the same EXACT areas hit that Katrina hit, with the same force@!@!! Is this not a SCENARIO????

During the hurricanes back to back last fall in Florida, Brown was there in plenty of time before ANY of them came ashore with all types of assistance for the victims and infrastructure; WHAT happened in New Orleans??? This neglect, I feel, was deliberate to study the effects on the people of New Orleans most of who could not leave, and the government knew this; call it genocide, that is what I feel very strongly was the intend.

Geraldo said on FOX news last night on his show, “This was a test in the event of a nuclear attack on a US city” his exact words. If so, the government failed drastically; comforting thought isn’t it.

READ these articles at sun-sentinel; they are REAL eye openers as to the preferential treatment delegated by FEMA regarding who gets what.

The following are my thoughts that I would like to share, keeping in mind that the SAME people who DID NOT get assistance to Katrina victims, are STILL in charge and I feel certain will continue to cause ciaos trying to resolve this devastating situation:

Why did FEMA NOT have things in place to help the victims of Katrina prior to it finally coming ashore???

Michael Brown had previously completed (in 7/2004--a little over 1yr aog) a “rehearsal” for such a strength “hurricane”, said “practice hurricane” was named “Pam.”

He KNEW what areas would be hit because they were the same areas and states as Katrina hit;
he KNEW what would be needed, especially in the event that the levee(s) should breach, which they did AFTER the hurricane and witnessed by a local (interviewed this afternoon on FOX news). This witness stated that he saw “ two grain (railroad) cars slammed into the levee.” If he witnessed “persons of interest” involved, the interview did not include that information (he may have stated it but it was edited out before broadcasting).

Brown KNEW the poverty level and the majority race involved in such a devastation in New Orleans, and along the Gulf;

he KNEW that there would be an immediate need of flood assistance and basics of human survival;

he KNEW that FEMA would need to respond IMMEDIATELY;

he KNEW all these things,

but YET FEMA WAS NOT close; WAS NOT prepared; WAS NOT anything for these Americans and their needs.

WHY?????????? Because he is derelict in his duty; incompetent; negligent in his fiduciary responsibilities; and dangerous to those who rely on his judgment and responsibility.

FEMA has been incorporated into the Homeland Security Department, whose current director is Michael Chertoff and who is also accountable to the victims, the states, the cities and the entire population of this Nation as to his dereliction of duty and incompetence in decision making. Between the two authorities, it is apparent that the BUSH administration is being directed by the most incompetent and derelictive individuals ever known to the country, including BUSH.

Ladies and gentlemen, these are the people who respond to our city, county or state in the event of a national disaster--be it volcano, tsunami, earthquake, floods, hurricane, fires, “Terrorist attacks” etc. I personally DO NOT WANT THESE INDIVIDUALS MAKING DECISIONS REGARDING MY LIFE; do you?

This calls for a MAJOR investigation into
WHY FEMA DID NOT GET HELP TO THE VICTIMS MUCH, MUCH SOONER;
WHO CAUSED THE LEVEES TO BREACH;
and FINALLY, PROOF THAT THE GOVERNMENT WAS INVOLVED IN CAUSING AND/OR INTENSIFYING THE “HURRICANE.”

ALL of these issues must be investigated to protect our futures from this government; as citizens you deserve answers in a truthful and timely manner.
