WHY is New Orleans Being DEPOPULATED

The hurricane affected an area 400 miles wide. The eye hit in Mississippi not New Orleans. Twelve deaths in that state occurred 150 miles inland.
Hurricane damage is covered by insurance. FLOOD DAMAGE is NOT COVERED by commercial insurance companies.

Many areas of New Orleans was NOT FLOODED. The French Quarter being one example.

Low Income people predominately live in section 8 housing. The rent, or a portion of the rent, if not all, is paid by HUD via the local housing authority. Few if ANY of this 100,000 or more population were home owners. Much of the
non project apartment houses were "cracker" type wood frame houses, built on concrete piers or pilings generally about 4 foot off the ground. The point here is even were we see water in the streets covering the hoods and trunks of cars, but not over the tops of the cars, it is EXTREMELY
UNLIKELY that water GOT IN THE HOUSE.

In my lifetime have been responsible for moving up to 3,200 people at any given time. It is no easy task. It requires a lot of pre planning and coordination. To move 100,000 people is a MAJOR UNDERTAKING.

Now if 50% or 60% of that 100,000 had been provided CLEAN DRINKING WATER, FOOD, port-a-johns or chemical toilets and a gallon of bleach for disinfecting. They could have remained in their homes with only the most minor of discomfort. Also all rents to real estate investors,
while reduced, would have continued to come in. Home owners, would not be forced to live in hotels, motels, or with relatives and make mortgage payments while their property was empty and subject to looters. YES, MANY would have had to been EVACUATED.

Instead the powers that be MANDATED 100% evacuation of the ENTIRE POPULATION, regardless of their living conditions. A very large portion of these people were forced to wade through RAW SEWERAGE for hours. Then they were left to DEHYDRATE for DAYS without food or water before being
bused to part unknown. Families were fragmented, with children going in one direction and parents in another. Yet to be seen is the HEALTH consequences to these same people. Because of the racial make up of this population group, UNDO HEALTH RISKS are being take to prove POLITICAL
CORRECTNESS. Children are being placed in schools without shot records or physical examinations. But that is not the matter I wish to pursue.

The net result is the DEPOPULATING of the CITY of NEW ORLEANS .... NOTE
... these same action AS NOT BEEN TAKEN in surrounding Parishes where the same or GREATER FLOODING exists.

Which beg the question "WHY only the city of New Orleans?" I can't answer that question.

The net result is BILLIONS and BILLIONS of dollars of PRIVATE PROPERTY will go to FORECLOSURE.

I think little in POLITICAL DECISIONS HAPPEN BY CHANCE. I believe there is a MAJOR CRIME in PROGRESS. As a citizen of this nation and a real estate investor, I believe ALL should be alerted.
